    griffdog's Tuesday tennis leans
I have a few picks that I'm looking at for tomorrow's tennis action. I want to narrow it down to three plays, since I had a poor end to today (such a promising start too, what with my NRL/Singaporean soccer parlay) and don't want to sink too much of my remaining bankroll into tennis.

Here's what I like so far, let me know what you think:

    Men:

Janko Tipsarevic (currently -125) - Has had injury/illness issues over the last couple of months, but he should take care of business against Granollers. As someone else mentioned on here, fade most of the Spaniards on grass.

Florent Serra (currently -120) - Simply a case of going with the better overall player here. Zverev has the head-to-head edge, but he's been absolutely horrendous this season. Might well stay away from it though, in the end.

Radek Stepanek (+170) - Value play of the day for me. Stepanek had to retire from the final in his last event due to a stomach issue, but that shouldn't bother him here. Kohlschreiber is a better bet on grass, but when you've got a +170 dog facing off against a player of a similar caliber, there's just too much value to pass up, whatever surface it is.

    Women:

Kristina Barrois (currently -145) - This looks to be one of the ones that's a definite.

Elena Baltacha (currently at +105) - going with the Brit yesterday in O'Brien didn't work too well for me, but I like my chances better with Baltacha.

So far, Stepanek (playing this one with freeplay money, so that one's okay) and Barrois look to be locked in for me, so which of the other three should I pick?

Okay, locked in Stepanek and Tipsarevic...decided not to lock in Barrois just yet. Deciding between Barrois, Baltacha, and Serra now.

Passing on Serra, looking at Andreas Beck now. Think I'll lock that one in before long. Might wait until the morning on Barrois and Baltacha.

Yeah, he's definitely worth a shot. Never know what you're going to get out of him, but he can hold his own on grass, and sure, PK has the home advantage, but that won't matter to a veteran like Stepanek.

All locked in with my plays now. Stepanek, Tipsarevic, Beck, Rochus, and Baltacha. Ended up doing more than I was going to originally, but I feel confident about them all.

Tipsarevic is the much better player but I am not sure if he is healthy yet. He had a serious ilness last month.

Couple of tough three set losses there for me, but ah well. Probably should've passed on Tipsarevic, but it was still a match he shouldn't have lost.
