Double Russian upets brewing in Halle...??
Youzhny plays kiefer(german in home country tourney)

Davydenko plays greul..see above...Davy coming off injury...could be shaky...

Wonder if the syndicate is going to give the OK eh EP?

i wonder why youzhny switched tournaments, i remember him doing well at aegon last year. he plays well in germany in his career though, he just won that bmw open. I really think youzhny is set for a matchup with hewitt or debakker (interested to see him on grass)

petzschner plays baggy, looks like an upset. stepanek is back from his long absence because of fatigue? kohlschreiber should beat him but who knows.

also ferrero switched tournies, this guy has a lethal grass game.
troicki/garcia lopez, chardy/lacko. looks like some tough matches

also originally i saw becker against berrer, woulda been a great german matchup between two big servers. anybody know why berrer dropped out.

let's see if melzer can make a run, staying far away from davydenko

It's hard to know where Kiefer is since he's hardly played in the last 7 months. You'd think perhaps he'd have a leg up if healthy though because he's obviously set this tournament as his return to action while Youzhny has to transition from dirt to grass without much practice time. I wouldn't touch Davydenko's match. No telling about what shape he is in plus Greul rarely playr grass. Would probably go Greul if someone held a gun to my head though. Davy's never been much on grass.

How about Kohlschreiber-Stepanek? Should be an interesting one. Both are pretty good on grass at times, but Kohly has been especially solid at this "home" tournament in recent years. You got Stepanek coming back from injury too, watch the price here.

By the way, Federer might be a mortal lock to win this one again too. He's owned Halle when he's played it and no one here should be able to touch him. If he's anything under -250, that's pretty awesome odds in a small tourney like this. Might be much larger at over -300 though.

federer really should win this, who knows how davydenko is playing, who wil come out of the bottom half, melzer/youzhny/hewitt? federer has to take out guys like ferrero/baggy or stepanek/kohly.
i'll def jump on fed to win this too

I got Kiefer +323 and Chiudinelli +145. Now I'm trying Ram +885 and Tomic +175.
