    Alexandrova in St Petersburg

    Early AM out of Saint Petersburg tomorrow.

    Giorgi is 2-0 vs. Alexandrova, but those matches were in 2016 and 2018.

    It's a pk at the -110 or -115 price.

    This is the first time Giorgi has played Saint Petersburg. I suspect she may be up for a fade. We know she can have issues with new environments and pressure situations, like hitting too hard past the baseline. Although I often back her, it's never with surety, that choker rep follows her, as her father does, which makes her nervous at times. I don't know if he will be there. But I do know Alexandrova is Russian, and she has done well in this tournament, reaching the Quarterfinals last year, and in 2019, and the Semifinal in 2020. Which means she is comfortable under the indoor lights and tight quarters with Russian tennis fans cheering her on. Pick: Alexandrova.

    This is a ball-bashing contest between two crazy bitches that can unhinge at any point in the match. Good luck but Alexandrova is in some kind of funk over last six months. Giorgi was not bad at AO apart from the Barty mess but this match is like putting a lighter to your money no matter who you pick. 5 am on a Monday to boot.
