Poise, if nothing else, you've piqued the interest of the board.

Borg had won five straight Wimb, b4 Johnny ** beat him in 1981. And Borg never won Wimb again. If Nadal is declining physically, it could end quickly.

The courts at RG generally get a higher bounce than the ones playing now. That helps Nadal a lot on his topspin forehands. Just another factor. That and 3-5 sets make it a bit different than what you see now.

if the OP was not such a Djokovic nut-hugger i would take this more seriously because there would not be so much bias built in. I bet the OP has lost 5 digits of USD or the equivalent to this in whatever his country's currency is because he clearly hates Nadal.

keep betting against him at the legendary RG and "one of these years" you will be right.

Opelka is facked. He’ll win 5% of rallies over 6 shots. Very bad matchup for him. Rafa will run that big oaf all over the court. Delbonis should’ve done better, especially on the return. Rafa will handle that 5x better

Opelka is better at rallies than isner in terms of big men. But against nadal no chance. He will win maybe 2-3 games from serve alone. But i say nadal 6-4. 6-3

People been saying Nadal declining physically since 2012. Clearly remember the threads on this site. Some people were saying he'll never win another major. He went on to win like 10 more, and counting.

Can Nadal lose? Sure, but I would just pick the match to bet against him, for way way better odds.

If you bet on a solid player to beat Nadal on clay, you're gonna get minimum 5 to 1 odds.

Nadal is obviously past his prime but Opelka to beat Nadal on clay? Give me a break.

Nadal will still go on to win the French Open, probably his last but neither Djokovic nor Thiem will beat him in this year's French Open finals.

I just don't understand people saying Djokovic and Nadal are done.

Please look at the last 11 slams before posting dumb shit like this. They have combined to win 10 of the last 11 slams, the only other winner is Thiem (the tournament Djokovic got disqualified).

Let's not pretend anyone but Djokovic would have won that tournament without the Dq.....

The last RG, Nadal reamed everyone - including Novak in full flight. That was in September, but now suddenly he's "too old." LOL

This is the big 21 where he beats Roger's record, and you're betting against him for... worse than even odds?

An even money bet for a 35 yr old to not win what...5 straight matches, is always a good bet.

He could pull a hammy, have an off day, lose to Theim or Joker...

    I'd bet this actually.

That 35 year old is the best player in the world, currently. There's only a couple of guys that even have a chance to beat him, that's why I said just bet against him when those opportunities arise if you really believe he'll lose. Nadal will be like -400 against Thiem and even higher against every other person not named Novak, who he wouldn't face till the finals anyway in that case.

Nadal and Novak slams are they greatest free gifts you'll get in your gambling careers, and you're betting against them. You could get the same odds betting on a random hockey game. At least then you'd have a 50/50 chance of winning. (Although only a fool would bet on coin tosses.)
