    Something Fishy Going On?
This morning Denis Istomin retired down 6-2, 2-2 against Lukas Lacko. Just checking the scoreboard and Istomin is now playing doubles! Did he quit cause he knew someone had a big bet on him ;-)

If anyone can tell me what the closing price was on the match, I'll tell you that it was fishy. Istomin was -102 when I bet on him last night. Lacko was -118.

I picked Lacko to win anyhow. But yeah, playing doubles sounds fishy...

Istomin was the better supported of the 2 but I don't see an avalanche of $ on him from those lines. Really need to check BetFair for a better guide though.

To put this in perspective I bet a 1k max bet on the Bryan Bros. in the Australin Open doubles final at pinnacle taking +107 and the line moved down to +101.

Tough to get down for big money on smaller games. And even smaller bets can generate big line moves.

If something fishy was going on, Istomin could not have been dumb enough to have anything to do with wagering on this match. Would have been incredibly obvious and he may as well handcuff himself and call it a career.

Since 1st set was completed some books would deem Lacko the winner. Lucky my book voided the bet.
