With the exception of Andy Murray, tennis players in the UK can get a lot of stick for not making it far at the Grand Slams. But let’s be thankful none of them are as bad as this with a Ukrai…

I think I could win 6-0 6-0 against that guy, although I have not spent more than 10 hours playing tennis in 20 years

There's actually interesting story surrounding that.

Two Ukranians bought airplane tickets and went to Doha. One of the guys, who also lost the match, Artem Bahmet, signed up for an ITF tournament and due to insufficient amount of pro players attending the tournament, got spot in quallies. The thing is though, this guy is NOT a rec player, in fact, he never held a racket in his life.

At first, people thought he has some rich Ukranian oligarch as parents who bought them tickets. Fact is, Artem and his buddy have a bookie website for tips and analysis, and to level up the business, they decided to attend the event, one as a player and the other as a coach.

Basically, a guy who never played tennis in his life decided to attend an ITF tourny and pretend he's a professional.

As a former college tennis player I can say that the odds of that are astronomical. Hilarious.

I watched a video of a couple points in the match. Both were hitting probably 40-50 mph..laughable.

I would love to be able to do that myself, just to play at least once in a pro tourney . Maybe I will play against Artem Bahmet and actually win

I watched two rallies, I thought the guy was trolling. I think my sister who has played maybe 10 times in her life could beat him.
