In case of a rematch of last year final I like his chances much more this time, even though I was impressed by Nadal today.

Indeed. Dream draw for him. A qualifier for the 2 first rounds.

The next 3 rounds 2x seeds in Goffin and Nishikori who are small grinders which Nadal loves to play, and a challenger player in Londero.

And that's a secured semi for him, and up for him in the semi's the 3 most difficult players on his side all are, and have to beat each other so he only have to face one of them. Tsitsipas, Wawrinka and Federer, and here he gets Federer, who is probably the guy he would rather want to play vs of all the 3. So all in all, the only really difficult match for Nadal in this draw is going to be the final. Which he can rest, and watch and prepare for while Djokovic and Thiem have to battle it out.

Last year tennisexplorer says 1.25 for Nadal and 4.50 for Thiem. This year it should be different with Thiem around 3.20 to 3.50 but it also depends how long the semifinal goes on today.

I don't know why everyone gives Thiem such a good chance at RG. Last year Nadal put the ball through the back of this head, not sure this year will be much different. Earlier matches in the clay season are irrelevant I think. Nadal peaks here, but we'll see.

Already got $7,000 for him making it to the final. Will make about $23,000 if he wins tomorrow. My biggest ever.

Befor the match vs Djoker i thought this might be Thiems time... winning a masters title now possibly a Slam... its been 5 years in the making. Im not sure now though. Nadals gifted ass gets another gifted trophy because of rest and weather. Im starting to realize why hes won so many tournaments. Nadal is #2 in the world, can anyone explain how he got to play befor Djokovic... guaranteeing more rest?
