Udomchoke +170/Levine -200
Levine is getting a lot of respect from oddsmakers I think from his run at Wimbledon, which if you look at the players, isn't all that impressive. Beating Safin is routine for just about everyone these days. Then he beat the clay courter Cuevas before bowing to Wawrinka. He won a couple at Newport on grass as well. He does have a pair of wins in qualifying at Indy, but he is showing some real hiccups on serve. 22 double faults in two qualis combined. He's still winning 70% of his 1st serve though, which is solid. His saving grace has been his ability to save break points. He's 17/22 saving those so far, but that's a lot of opportunities he's giving up. Udomchoke is a similar "might mite" player like Levine, listed at 5'8" to Levine's 5'9". He beat Levine last summer on hard courts. He's been very successful at the challenger level on this harder surface (24-12 in 2009). Levine is just above a .500 player lifetime on harder surfaces, so he's not a sure thing here. In fact, his only wins on hard courts in 2009 also came at challengers. I'm not really sold on either player as they're both ranked around 120, but Udomchoke might be a decent dog play here - if you can get past that CHOKE in his name. Start time listed at 4pm ET.
