He was super pissed with the media that they found out about his engagement which was so bizarre with him being one of the most public figures in sport at the moment.

It's alright though all will be good on clay where he is rarely ever injured.

kyrgios now has a combined 7-6 record against the combo of nadal/djokovic/wawrinka 2-0 against joker, 2-7 against murray and 1-5 against fed. he has always said how easy it is to get up for those guys, getting up for someone is one thing but beating them is another which he's shown he can do he just doesnt care all that much for many other matches.

I love how he belittles easy opponents at times. Its hilarious. If the guy Gave a fck fulltime he would be top 10

like how him and tomic how are honest lot of the time some things you wish theyed shape up in, I think being young, distracted, and having money and probably not loving tennis as much as youd hope they did, got the best of them. when theyre retired and if ever in need of money theyll have some regrets and prob wish theyd taken it more seriously

So it turns out Kyrgios was sick during the match but fought on

I think Nadal was rattled later on that he couldn't finish the match too...Could tell at his disappointment without making much effort at the net shaking hands.

It was a 3-6 7-6(2) 7-6(6) win for Kyrgios, in a match where he came close to retiring. He admitted he was feeling sick after dropping the first set 6-3, but told the trainer that he didn’t want to retire from the match because of the media backlash that could ensue.

“I feel sick...if I forfeit, the media will blow it up…. I’ll be booed off the court,” Kyrgios said, with the court-side mic picking up his words.
“I’m gonna try to play a couple of more games”.
