I just figured Agut would be mentally tired after beating djokovic and beating murray in thrilling matches

The guy (Bautista) can have a mental lapse but physically I wouldn't question him IMO
Without the big three the guy is capable of winning a slam
I haven't decided what I am going to do with this match, Feel like Millman is in for a letdown year

Millman looked fatigued against Simon in that 3 setter. Wouldn't trust him if this goes the distance.

I think Roberto wins this, and the crowd will be less annoying than 2 days ago. Don't like the odds though.

Ok thanks for the input guys. Ive noticed a trend with guys coming off tournaments wins and then shitting the bed on match two of the very next tournament. I may just wait for a live play here

Maybe go for the high odds now that John Millman lost the first set. Who knows, Roberto may again drop his level after leading early in the match.

Yeah a bit of a comeback wouldnt surprise me here, Millman was down a break in that Federer match in the US (second set) before storming back to win those three sets and Bautista is capable of having a mental lapse.

It's weird because he (Bautista) is such a good player and should have better results at the slams. He's beaten the top guys too. He's more built to play tennis then Ferrer and is probably more talented as a ball striker then Ferrer and he's mentally stronger then Verdasco but he's underachieved compared to them

I actually had no idea his mother passed away last year so it explains some of his poor results

That said the guy is an all court guy who has done well on grass too (even won a title on it) so Ill be rooting for him here.

Roberto's game is efficient but it is also too predictable, but for sure he is due to reach a slam quarter eventually, maybe this season. Not many players managed to beat Novak Djokovic twice in the last 3 years.

Two things I noticed RBA improved: his serve, and his drop shots. Even though I was backing him to win, did not think he would be leading with such margin after two sets.

Im watching the match, he seems like hes hitting the ball harder on winners. Millman hasnt been good but he hasnt been terrible either

Millman's backhand isn't really a weapon in this game, actually their backhands are pretty even but Bautista has been able to get more out of his forehand. He's also one of the few baseliners who are good at the net with his shot decisions and anticipation.

Also forgot to mention I give the advantage to Bautista on movement/court coverage (like most Spaniards) heh

What a choke in the 4th. Up 6-2 with MP on his own serve, proceeds to lose the tiebreak 8-6.

He's playing against Khachanov and yes, i think he has no energy left. I wonder what the lines will be.

Guessing Karen Khachanov will open around 1.60 or 1.70. He should win.
