May not be ended yet, there is another one possibly coming...

El Amrani vs Delbonis, pre-match odds of Delbonis is 1.05
El Amrani took the 1st set...and Delbonis called medical timeout after 1st set...
Also a very high ranked player from Morocco, same story as the previous one?

I just posted the same thing in my thread haha, something suspicious going on I reckon

The 'lose the first set then retire after a game in the second set' fix routine well entrenched in that game haha :\

Woo...Delbonis retired very early in the 2nd set, possibly he did the job of throwing the match by retiring after finishing the 1st set, some bookmakers pay out the moneyline after completing 1st set (Sorry I should not have said this...someone please tell me they didn't fix the match )

Just as weird as fxxk...two consecutive matches with two very high ranked local Morocco players, massive odds, both won.

Sanchez vs Safwat seemed pretty shady too.

Has anyone seen the match? Granollers is not that great, but is solid enough to beat a nobody. Weird.

This Ahouda guy is now +6 underdog against Struff (Challenger level guy), what do you guys think?

Normally hate backing the big dog after an upset but his numbers against granollers were pretty good. Unsurprisingly he had the far better second serve then Granollers which is usually a good measuring stick as to who handles the pressure better. And likely less of a fix then Delbonis

Huge upset. I hate that the books set such huge straddles. -5000 vs +1600 is almost criminal. Better on exchanges, I'm sure.

Gorwin, u seem to know tennis. Have one betting-rule Q for u:

                                * Is industry-standard now that "one set must be completed" for action to stand?

...Does this rule vary at all by book? Thx.

Hi man, it does vary at different books.
Some books would settle the Moneyline(Match winner) bet if one set was completed, even if a player retired after one set completed(who retired, who lost the match), some books would void the Moneyline if either play retired at any point of the match.

Thx, man. I should have clarified my Q better. But I understand what you're saying:

                                      * For MLB, the way a rain-shortened game works is:
                                      ...Moneyline is graded as Win/Loss.
...+1.5 Runlines and Totals are refunded.

I'm GUESSING that Tennis is similar. If one-set is completed, M/L should hold, but Handicap/Total should be refunded.

Funny, I've watched matches were I'm just praying that the trailing player doesn't Retire b4 end (1st set).

To be safe, you should need to enquire your book regarding their rules, because it really depends on different book.
But yes you are definitely right, my book void the ML if a player is retired at any point of the match, so if the opponent is retired after trailing far behind the player I bet on, then it would be really damn frustrating
Especially in women tennis, it is common to see a player retired after losing the 1st set.

For example without juice Djokovic vs Challenger guy should be 1.01 vs 100
But bookies offer no more than 20!!! Some bookies dont offer over 15
