Danish guy Torpegaard has shown great play this week, and his odds at 2.75 are just too good to withstand.
GL to anyone who follows.

He's also from Columbus, so he'll have the home support. Sandgren has been great lately but I took +3.5

Should clarify, not actually 'from', but goes to college there. Plays in the NCAA. Still, huge support.

Torpegaard wins 7-5, 7-6
He never faced breakpoints on own serve. Will be interesting to see his odds for tomorrows match against B. Becker - I am guessing around 3.50, and if so it is worth playing on the dane again.

Yeah, this is one of those times where his ranking doesn't tell all. He's played Davis cup for denmark and then when he gets a tourney in his college city, I'm guessing the support would be through the roof. I didn't get to watch it but would be interested on the thoughts of anyone that did.

I watched a bit of another match(Becker), it is an indoor event, don't think there will be lots of supporters though...
The video attached is from 2015, same event...don't think there are even many seats

I watched the Torpegaard-Sandgren match, and no there are not a lot of fans - maybe like 50 people or so. They rarely supported "home player" Torpegaard, only when he won the set or if they played like a +12 hits rally.
Though it is still a massive advantage for Torpegaard that he knows these courts, and that the fans are with him - even though they are not cheering like crazy
My guess at 3.50 for Torpegaard at the final was not much off, as i can se my bookie gives 3.40 for danish victory.
Torpegaard deserves a play in the final, but dont get too high on the stakes. Best of luck
