I just bought out of it, my rationale for betting it was that Murray's stamina would win out but who knows what'll happen in just one set.

No tie-break so the old dog is gonna run out of gas soon.

Under normal circumstances Kohlschreiber should win. But I never trust the guy ever since he withdrew a few years back (vs Haider-Maurer if memory serves right) @ Wimbledon in the 5th set claiming he was too tired to play. Burned a big chunk of my bankroll on that day

Edit: Turns out it was vs Dodig

He was within 2 points of winning when up 5:4 at 30 all, I actually thought he was gonna do it.

My first instinct was Almagro and I usually play favs. I used to be a huge fan of him before the recent injury layoff but he came back looking like shit for a while. I think his best win since was against an uninterested Tsonga in Buenos Aires a couple months ago.

Good call on Almagro DR225. Kohlschreiber plays like sh!t

In the meanwhile, Fognini may have not invented choking but he certainly perfected it

Fognini is a complete mystery. If I knew Fog was going to give 100% effort in this match, I'd go all in on him every single time vs Granny. Talent wise he is so superior but he just ...I don't know. He is definitely a fixer, there's no other explanation. He also plays down to competition, if that was Nadal on the other side of the net, he would've won at least a set.

And thanks fox, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while lol.

That 1st set comeback from Hugues-Herbert was priceless. I saw it coming and pounded like crazy.

Same for PH Mathieu. Got him +1.5 games @3.2 when he was trailing a break down in the 2nd. then I bet on Giraldo to win the set when he was 6-5 up.

                              vive la France!

I like betting on breaks of serve after a returner fails to convert a bunch of break points, like in the Zverez first set. I've never bet on sets when a player is down a break though, those big + numbers scare me away. btw are you just looking at the scores at a website like flashscore or are you watching all these matches? I tend to do the former with the tennis channel on in the background at this stage in the tourney.

I have 4 screens and a TV in my office so I'm pretty much watching 5 matches at a time. But I have been applying same betting strategy for so long and also on ITF circuits, started to sense comebacks just by looking at the numbers. I use bet365 to track all scores.

Comebacks are always more profitable. Where WTA is concerned, there's always momentum swing. In order to avoid tiebreak choking, I take +1.5 when available. I took the risk on Falconi, Parmentier and Allertova comebacks in the 1st sets and happy with the results. Allertova choked after, but who cares?

I have watched Bourgue at least 10 times in Challenger tour + his match vs Samper Montana the other day. This guy can't dominate the match or dictate points even when he wins, yet he's all over Murray today. Unbelievable motivation. Something Simon and Paire lacked today.

If this game goes to decider and Murray wins, it's a lot of energy used against 79 years old Stepanek and some challenger level player.

bump this thread to the top...

just got simon cheap at -110 at *3-5 v.Troicki

if/when/after he finishes dropping s1, will add a tad more at an even better price

                                                          done at +110

                                                          ok, energizer-backboard, time to grind!
