World number two Roger Federer
returned to action on Tuesday after nearly a month off and defeated Alexander
Zverev in straight sets; however, the third seed is unsure if he will continue
in the tournament due to his vigilant approach with rehabbing his back injury.
Thanks.
The issue is if he's unfit to play, he'll withdraw. He knows his body better we do.

Federer never withdraws during a game. And he looked stiff vs Zverev. Zverev was mediocre in groundstrokes. Thiem is a good clay courter strong in both forehand and Backhand Side. Rallies wont be an issue like zverev. If Thiem serves very well he can beat lesser Federer
and Federer is 32-15 here historically when he was Healthy, a less-than-spectacular record for fed's standards

Great insightful input.
I just bought out of the bet with Thiem +1.5.
Once more thanks!

No. Kenz was the one who broke the news here. I don't have specific sites I go to for such news. What I normally check is the weather for non-indoor tournaments.

What's Gasquet doing? If he knew he wasn't going to play, why didn't he withdraw?

Well, we have ourselves to blame.
Gone to work.
Already counted that a loss.
