So, how many of these top 10 players do you really think are injured? I pretty much don't believe a thing that comes out of Serena's camp unless the injury is at a major.

You gotta figure the WTA hates the IPL at this point. That said it doesn't seem to be as bad for the men.

I have serious doubts about their injuries too, probably they weren't feeling at 100% and decided to skip a lower level event.

Muguruza's retirement today was a good example of that, she said she was feeling some pain on her foot and because was getting worst she decided to retire.

The weeks before Slams are always extremely dangerous, is important to assure player's motivation and this week is a perfect example of that.

I'm on 2-1 @5+. Crawford cannot be discounted, but she shouldn't last.

This was Crawford's 7th match this week at a leve she's not used too, especially the last two. Despite winning them in straight sets, it was very demanding for her mentally and physically. Is good to see Vika returning to her best!

Good calls on Berdych and Aza today ! Let's hope Kerber does not fold. I like your writeup, but I am not sold on Kerber being mentally strong.

Are you following the Hopman Cup by any chance ? I think the final today will be pretty tight. Both teams are made of young, good players all of whom should be trying hard in the final.

Thank you, I think Kerber is a great competitor and mentally solid under pressure. Her wide serve from de Ad side followed by a forehand down the line or crossed backhand is her trademark on break points and she uses to bring her best tennis on those situations.

No, I'm not following the Hopman Cup very closely, I've saw some matches to follow the players level but haven't followed in terms of the competition.
