I always try to stay away from Barthel prematch unless I know she's in a groove, I bet her live here and she showed why I stayed away. She always looks a little too lax to me, she got up a break in the 3rd then gave it right back then got broken again, broke back herself then serving to tie she gets broken. She left too many balls short and the Ostapenko wanted it more anyway.

i think she lost her serve 4 times in the final set.
ridiculous - and it was still close..
she is garbage but so is Ostapenko.

going with Hradecka/Lucic-Baroni in doubles next.

I thought about betting that but that price is just too much, anyone can lose in doubles. They won the title last year but Im sure it was because of Hradecka, Lucic hasnt won a doubles match since that final.

i almost took Broady but hesitated too long.
one thing i know, Hradecka can serve, and both her and Lucic
are veterans... both like this tournament in Quebec, and
Muhammad and M. Sanchez are not that good.

if this wins, I'm going for the other half back with Atlanta ML tonight.

she is not mentally engaged.
players like her are dangerous because their records have impressive
wins - then you never know when they will lose to a scrub. It can happen any day,
for no reason. Does she even take herself seriously ? We don't know.

good luck with Broady but who knows, she is also a flake, and doesn't have much
as a player except for her power serve. you might want to sell her back.

I feel like depending on Hradecka and Lucic is at least depending on two ADULTS,
whatever happens, they are mature. Call me a MILF bettor.

anyone have a lean in the Navarro, Bondarenko match in the Tokyo tourney? Navarro has lost like 6 straight but it was mostly good competition. She has to be injured to be the dog in this match (Bondarenko -118, Navarro -102).

I wouldnt say Ostapenko's a scrub she only just turned 18 and is coming along. Yeah I figured this would go 3 from looking at her previous matches, I think if it goes to 3rd she will fight back and take it like the 1st but we'll see. Its really 50/50 at this point.

Probably not injured just probably based on her sucking recently, I always bet Navarro according to if she's defending points, when defending points she just about goes by the script most of the time, but with losing so many straight she may want a win really bad no matter if defending or not.

She did win two matches in this tourney last year but if points are the main motivation for her, I would think she would've done better in the US Open and the prior tournaments. I still think she might have an injury, in the last couple matches she hasn't been able to hold serve to save her life. Thanks for the reply man.

Exactly, which is why Im not using that theory until she wins and I see her play. Maybe some nagging injury, wonder if its more confidence though, who knows, havent searched anything on the net about her lately but it probably wouldnt matter, seems tennis is the hardest sport to get an edge on, players dont talk much, when they tweet its really never about their motivation or give any details about much.
