I dont know but when i saw lines, it should be easy win for Mladenovic straight sets +160

I think she'll win but a matchup between Mladenovic and Vinci doesn't scream "easy straight sets". It could be straight sets but something like 7-5 6-4

Mladenovic and Vinci have improved their singles games over the past few months, especially impressed with Vinci this hardcourt season in the US. But I'm not 100% on Mladenovic being a player to be a lock for a straight sets win. Vinci's game of sticking in the points and backhand slices could unsettle Mladenovic in this one. Errani was able to take a three sets off her in 2 meetings in Toronto and New Haven.

Vinci has no doubles to focus on after both she and Mladenovic got ko'd. Vinci has had an extra days rest which could come in handy for a player at her age.

Agree, hard to predict how Vinci slices work for Mladenovic
      Errani could be nice guideline

It's women's tennis. Would you be surprised if Vinci or mladenovic won 6-1, 6-1? I wouldn't. Wnt

More like Womens tennis usually goes something like 2-6 6-4 6-1 or 6-1 1-6 6-2

I'd be surprised if one routs the other like 6-1 6-1 between Mlad and Vinci

These routine wins usually reserved for matchups between two mismatched pairings in rankings or experience. Like the top 5 players facing a player ranked 30 or below, or maybe someone facing a youngster or wildcard in the early rounds

Both will dogfight for this to make a semi final for the first time at a Grand Slam albeit to probably get routined in the next round. Both are yet to prove their consistency so a 6-1 6-1 would have to be extremely high standard we have not seen from these two.

One method I like to employ with WTA is wagering live on whoever loses first set to either win 2nd set and/or match, as there's usually a good change they recover and at least push it to 3 sets. It works more often than not, and is especially good since most of the time you can get very good + odds at them coming back and winning 2nd set and match.

Forgot to add I only ever do this when the players are closely matched skill-wise, as in this case. If it's a heavy favorite or someone that should win (i.e. top 10) of course it's wise to wager on them coming back and winning match, as there usually isn't as much value in placing wager for them to win 2nd set (usually too heavily juiced). Hopefully we can see Mladenovic come back and at least take the 2nd set here.

                    Agreed

Especially against older legs, you'd think Mladenovic should be able to take this to 3. She has made some very basic errors (trademark)

Vinci is not gonna win the game playing like that.

Was so sick so she called for a trainer, 2 games later she finishes the set off
