Domi won 2 tiebreakers over Pironkova at New Haven 2 days ago,
so she's had a full day of rest. Mladenovic won a tight 3-setter over
Errani just yesterday, and also spends time in doubles. Mladenovic
has been playing a lot of tennis lately and might just prefer to
look ahead to US Open, still in good form even if she loses today,
while Domi will crave the confidence boost of advancing deep or even
winning New Haven. Domi is 4-0 vs. Kristina.

initially i liked cibulkova too, and her 4-0 head to head. but look at the matches mladenovic has played recently, and she has beaten some top notch players. She nearly even beat halep(again). Cibulkova gave it her all on sunday against pironkova, and just pulled it through. she gets extremely sloppy and loses concentration. I think mladenovic has a good chance of beating her in 2 sets
