Worth a bet at nice odds, good situation for him coming in fully rested having skipped the Rogers Cup where you have Murray and Djokovic who just had a grueling 3hr match in Canada and have almost no rest time before this tournament kicks off.

Djokovic has had some elbow pain and has never won this tournament and Murray will be satisfied with winning Montreal and heading to the USO knowing he can beat Djokovic again so will he give everything to win Cincy? I doubt it his focus is probably on the US Open now.

Makes Federer a value play especially if he wants the 2 seed for the US Open he needs to win here, we all know Federer won't win another slam but he can still vulture these Masters 1000 events when the top guys aren't fully motivated.

I don't think it's a bad bet. At all. I could see fed winning, but what makes you think he's in top form right now after being off since wimby. I mean Fed is Fed but still he's human. He lost to Seppi on this surface at a grand slam this year. He kinda has a tough draw too, he will be tested in his first match alone. I think Fed can definitely win this tourney... but I give him the same chance as Stan, Cilic, and Berdych. What are the odds for fed? If you know you won't be able to get a good hedge out of it then I wouldn't do it. Maybe parlay fed to win every round instead so you can choose when not to play him. He should be at solid parlaying odds from the first match
