The guy is a headcase. I expect Murray to take care of business here, but nobody in their right mind should be betting -800 on the ML. Murray waddles around complaining of leg problems too often and one of these days he is going to withdraw from a match. Murray is looking great and Kyrgios won't be able to handle the power or consistency.

Not much of a danger of that, he's only retired twice in his career. Once was 2007, tore a muscle in his wrist and couldn't play for a while afterwards. Second in 2013, he withdrew from a masters with the back injury, had to withdraw from the French straight after (and the same problem eventually needed surgery and killed his 2014).

Some players have 20 or 30+ retirals, and haven't played nearly as many matches.

I got you.....it was more of a commentary on how the whiney pricks starts walking around like he has been shot halfway through the first set of every match he has ever played.

It is also a commentary on how I would NEVER bet a -800 fave in tennis when somebody can retire and flush my money for me.

You should have two outs in tennis a book that grades retirements and a book that doesn't - I like that Murray plays around with his head more so than an opponents (since that trick is old) - Taking faves at those odds will set you up for a disaster but what do I know.
