    Monreal's Dog Chase Day 1
Ok, let's have a look at 'em and measure some value or no value.

    1. Chardy - Delbonis >> dog odds around 5 on Delbonis

I have to say I am a bit amazed here. Chardy is so unpredictable, and he has some well known attitude problems. He has played 2 matches after Wimbledon and both of them lost. Del Bonis on the other hand is a decent claycourter but his playing style is not hopeless on hardcourts as well. Think he has a chance of pulling it.

    2. Cilic - Istomin >> dog odds around 3.6 on Istomin

I think odds are great here on Istomin as Cilic is not looking so fierce any more. Istomin has been able to win this guy on hard courts this year, so don't see why this couldn't happen again. Istomin has played some matches in Atlanta and Washington while Cilic was average in his beloved Umag (clay).

    3. Paire - Falla >> dog odds around 2.6 on Falla

Falla was looking quite bad lately but I so much don't trust this Paire guy that such odds are enough for me to take Columbian. If he is able to up his level a bit he has a chance of winning here.

    4. Anderson - Kokkinakis >> dog odds around 4.54 on Kokkinakis

Would be very surprised if Andersson lost this. Young greek ain't gonna upset anyone who is as big as mr. Kevin.

    5. Hewitt - Benneteau >> dog odds around 2.89 on Benneteau

This is interesting. Many believe that good old Leyton has returned to some tennis form. I really doubt it. Yes, he won some Newport grass crap tourn. and played 2 tiebreaks against Rao but this is for sure a place where he can collapse easily. And Benneteau is serve-and-volley type of guy who always seem to raise his level at bigger events. Im leaning towards dog here.

    5. Mahut - Russell >> dog odds around 2.22 on Russell.

I think American can win here. I will not bet him, but he once or twice a year is playing well, despite his height and age. and Mahut can suck badly at times. No match practice on hardcourts won't help Mahut as well. Over is also applicable here.

    6. Smyczek - Kamke >> dog odds 2.10 on Smyczek

This is a coinflip as both are on some sort of a form. Maybe American gets more support and can win but i will not bet here.

    7. Karlovic - Tomic >> dog odds 2.15 on Karlovic

I like Karlovic's chances here, but i don't like odds here. Tomic deserves to be a bigger favourite here so not grabing in here as this will most likely be decided in a couple of tiebreaks.

    8. Dodig - Isner >> dog odds 5.12 on Dodig

Would i go against Isner here? Absolutely, yes. Dodig can be so dangerous at times, and Isner's defense is not gonna trouble him. So again decided in tiebreaks and if it is not Isner's day, what then?

    9. GG Lopez - Marinko >> dog odds 2.29 on GG Lopez

Odds are too low and really i think Marinko wins here as he has some decent results under his belt, while opponent has sucked on clay.

    10. Bautista - Lopez F. >> dog odds 2.59 on Lopez

This is takeable as I don't belive Bautista (despite his tournament win in Stuttgart) so much on hardcourts, but then again Feliciano looks terrible, so this can go either way.

    11. Vasselin - Tsonga >> dog odds 4.2 on Vasselin

Unless Tsonga retires or something, Vasselin has no real chance here.

    12. Polansky -Janowitz >> dog odds 3.35 on Polansky

This is considerable, as this year you can bet against Jerzy safely. He has been terrible, and if serve goes as bad as it has gone lately, local boy has a chance here. So if day goes well, we can add this pick.
So for now I advice and take myself the follwoing >>

    # Delbonis @ 5.31
    # Istomin @ 3.61
    # Falla @ 2.6
    # Benneteau @ 2.89
    # Dodig @ 5.12

(Possibly also on Polansky @ 3.35)

Agree on all of these..Would not touch Paire with a stolen hand

Dodig..no form but has power to compete with Isner

Istomin can win but loses to shit players too

Delbonis just because EP hates chardy..

If true that Cilic is switching surfaces you have to like Istomin 1st set. I also like Benneteau straight up and the over in Delbonis. Chardy will take it, but he tends to flake and give up a set when he's the better opponent and gets a little pressure and knows he can take the 3rd set.

sadly first 3 matches went to deciders and really unfair that none of them converted into wins. Also due to rain it was too late to follow rest of the matches and missed Polansky pick.

Then again Day 1 ended in decent profit. Will post dog chase of day 2 later on.
