Do we even take a chance with Brown tomorrow? Or, do we wait?

I'm waiting. Not always that first match after a long tournament that gets you, often it's the 2nd. And in this case, I think even a healthy Nadal would have trouble with Kohlschreiber on this surface at this event if that is the match-up. Brown is still nothing special on this surface. The only reason anyone probably knows his name is remembering him beating Hewitt at Wimbledon last year. I think it will be a close match and of course upsets do happen, but truly think if Rafa was struggling physically he would have skipped Halle altogether. Brown will have to have an A+ serving day and Rafa certainly will need a B or lower effort.
My honest opinion going into Sunday was if he lost by chance, he would have skipped this week to recover physically and obviously emotionally. Winning, I thought he would come to Halle with the world as his oyster again and no pressure this week. He'd like to win a match and get at least two under his belt to prep for Wimbledon, but we've seen these top guys skip events before Slams before and be perfectly fine.
