Istomin such a mental mug, 2 of his 3 set points were unforced errors (one of them at a semi-empty court), then a double fault at 6-6 in the tiebreak. I definitely didn't expect Matosevic to be decent after yesterday's display, I suppose I did a stupid bet.

Let's hope Denis turns this around!

ed: he also did an unforced error when he was up 0-30 5-6 at Marinko's serve.

true, i didnt like the odds so took -3.5 haha =.="

still think istomin can cover with that early break in 2nd. munich is faster clay so like this for istomin even tho as u said, istomin aint the best on clay bt then neither is matosevic.

I watched Istomin on clay versus Bellucci in Bucharest and here against Kohl and he was doing fine, surely way better than Marinko, that was my line of thought.
