    Wimbledon prize money increases
    Wimbledon prize money goes up 10.8 percent

    Total prize money for this year's Wimbledon tournament will reach 25 million pounds ($42 million), an increase of 10.8 percent that will mostly favor the early-round losers.


    45k now to first round losers..Dam...As much as winning an ATP 250. Nice to see them do this for the guys that just getting in is such a huge accomplishment.

                      Find anyone in the top 100 that is injured and back against them with a non void bookie round one. Wander out with your knee/shoulder/wrist injury, lose a few games, call it quits and pocket 50k. Easy. Anyone 50% fit is not going to pass that up.
