Karlovic- garbage style tennis player, yet that's his game style, I feel for Kudla, been watching his development since he was 16, he feels immense pressure holding his serve against that giant slicer that Kudla is not playing up to his potential, yet he is only 21, give him more time.

I kid you not any top 500 ATP player could easily beat Dr Ivo if he just hit 2nd serves, I dropped 2k on Ivo to win this match cause I knew how this was gonna turn out, but it's almost demoralizing watching the match. I cannot stand these huge servers with terrible return games, Kudla's been winning 78 % of the points when he's returned. Sad really.

The indoor hardcourt seems suited to karlovic large serve. He's lost his last 3 matches but if you look at how he lost they were all close sets to fairly well know opponents(Wawrinka,Querry,Tomic)
Kudla has played a lot of challenger tournaments lately. He's beat Guys that he should beat and he's also lost to guys he should beat. I believe Kudla is just in average form. Add in the fact that he's played a bunch recently couple with the flight overseas just a few days ago, I think Karlovic will be just a little too much here.
