You can see plenty examples of this in the hot day matches, but not so much the nights I think. The men's quarterfinals are all mid afternoon, but semis and the final are night matches.
Tsonga is the main one I'd look at to suffer from day temperatures, he's dragging around a hell of a lot of muscle.

i like against tsonga play, i am going to wait and see if they going to close the roof during the women's matches, and put some on verdasco if it is going to be as hot as yesterday.
i feel that serena's fitness is a suspect, but kuzntesova is too much of the choker to capatalize on it.

You gotta realize this is not all heat-related. This is CONDITIONING. Roddick made it through yesterday and looked ready to go 5 sets if need be. Why? He TRAINED in HEAT. Same with Verdasco training in Las Vegas. Djokovic about died. Why? Stupid ass trained in Monte Carlo where temps in December find highs in the 50s. Guy has pulled out of 4 majors now with fitness-related issues. As Federer said in his post-match, look at the player and not necessarily the conditions all the time. In other words, Djokovic in this case F-ed himself.
