Good luck at that, LT.
Just don't give me +120 on a coin flip, or else you'll be making more of these threads.

Cheers! Actually in retrospect I think it was the wrong bet, even though it won - very arguable value given how well Federer actually played. Far far better would have been Murray 2-1 correctscore, given how many of their previous three setters ended in that score.

He was being gracious in victory, I will not do so, I know for a fact Murray was the right side and it's why he was my first 3 unit play of the year. With as rough as some are in criticism, I wouldn't do so unless I knew the value there.
Getting +120 on a flip of a coin, I'll take it each and every time.

I dunno, in some respects there was encouragement for Federer. His backhand in particular looked very well grooved, and he did pretty well trading crosscourt shots with Murray (who imo has the best backhand in tennis). Some of his down the line shots were gorgeous.
Serve % was also good for Federer. He needs that if he's going to win more slams.
Final set was poor, yes, but he won't be bothered about that. Ultimately Doha is a very slow court, and vs someone with Murray's defence it was always going to be a stretch. Federer quite correctly has no interest in tiring himself out, or worse risking an injury, when the Aussie Open (and potentially equalling Sampras's record) is 2 weeks away.
