#6918Nieminen comments for today:
Better news from Cincinnati: I'm back playing normal again and my body feels fine. I had a couple of days off after the match in Montreal and my hamstring got a lot better during those days. On the top of that my physio is also here now to help me to stay fit so the situation is good now.My game has been a way different in the practises here than in practices in Montreal. I have played more points and started to get used to this tempo again. My practises has been as solid as before the break and I have been hitting the ball well every day, that was not always the case in Montreal.
I played doubles today with Simon against Melzer and Fish. We lost the match 6-4, 3-6, 14-12, but I REALLY enjoyed playing that match. It was entertaining tennis and I was very happy the way my body felt and the way I played. Tomorrow I try to keep hitting the ball well in singles against Roger-Vasselin. I lost against him last time in straight sets, hopefully it will be a totally different story this time. I'm even more looking forward to go to the court tomorrow after this good doubles match, I had so much fun on the court today.
I'm also very happy to be healthy for this tournament, it wasn't so sure after Montreal that I would be 100% here but luckily I recovered well and could get a couple of very good practice days under my belt.Comment -

Lucci is incredibly desperate. His career is slipping away, and he has to pick up as many wins as he can. He should go the Tankydenko route and abuse PEDs to ensure he will always qualify for main draws of events.Comment -

I won't argue with you there, but it's hard to beat a motivated opponent who is also using PEDs to prolong his career.
It's rather sad when you think about it, because Tankydenko should have made enough money during his prime (and from fixing) to be able to retire. I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures, though.
Be careful with Tankydenko. He might make another run this week thanks to his good friends known as PEDs.Comment
