The best tennis bet of the weekend, by far...
Alright, 1-0 this past week here in tennis.

The value is just undeniable in this one but no time to write much, so take it for what it's worth..

    11/8 35 N. Djokovic -175
    01:05 AM 36 J. M. Del Potro +165

It is value, but Del Potro is playing on a bum toe and looked gassed in Paris. Just saying buyer beware before diving in.

Del Potro, who was forced out of this month's Vienna Open because of the problem with the nail on his right big toe, said it would not stop him playing in next month's Davis Cup final despite requiring removal and 15 days rest.

He looked totally dead against Fat Dave in Paris. I'll wait to see the first part of the game and maybe bet in play.

Fair enough, I understand the skepticism but I'm simply playing the line here.

Yeah, was't meaning to criticise - I see the logic, and both betting against Djokovic and for JMdP has been very profitable recently. I'd give jmdp maybe 45% chance if he's recovered some energy, so the value would be very tasty (+175 at pinnies!). Djokovic has been rubbish lately, I'm almost tempted to think of it as 50/50. It's not like jmdp is some unknown junior either, this match is world no3 vs no7, with the no7 on fire. Over the last 4 months, it's more like no4 vs no5 on form.

Question for me is: was the tiredness on display in Paris just a short term thing, from too many matches in a few weeks? If so, he can easily recover that after a week and a half rest. If it's more the type of exhaustion that comes from a 20yr old playing too much over 6 months, he's toast. Should know pretty early in the match which it is, so just hope neither breaks and ruins the chance during that time :-)
