Sportsbetting.com new ownership pays cheated player

The Sportsbetting.com player filed his confiscation claim with SBR in March of 2011 and has confirmed with SBR that new ownership credited him with $20,000. The BetOnline Group (SBR rating B+) acquired Sportsbetting.com (now .ag) in June. BetOnline tells SBR it is in the process of clearing all delinquent and pending payouts under the old brand. | Read more

People who "talk trash" about BOL have good reason for doing so. Payouts taking way too long, and CS not very helpful. See the JJ Gold video for more info. I'd post it, but it probably would get deleted again.

Lou I have been trying to get in contact you about a betonline issue for over a week. I PM'd you, I responded to your forum posts, and nothing. Every thread you make on here defends betonline yet when I try and get help regarding a betonline issue, I get no response. I'm sure you are busy but I'd appreciate a way to get in contact with you.

Shutup, they bailed out a player that thought he lost out on 20k and they wanted to bailout the Beted players but Beted wouldn't work it out. But they r so bad, im not going to get into payout issues with them from time to time not like this is the first time im hearing this, blame the U.S. govn if u have issues from time to time about getting payout from books. This thread is about a player that i know from reading, got screwed by a book and now got bailed out by Betonline GJ on there part.

May I suggest you read the post before you start blabbering. He was CREDITED to his account that amount. The person with the issue still hasn't seen a dime of his cash...

btw Legions36 I just credited $1,000,000 back to your account. Enjoy!

Title of thread is EXTREMELY misleading. The guy was credited his rightful balance, not paid--and GOD knows when he'll see real $$$$$ with this Shit Book.. How about correcting the thread title SBR to show what actually transpired.

Management is currently reviewing archived disputes submitted to SBR. A ratings upgrade is expected when the full list is addressed.
BetOnline has been in business since 2006 without any cases of cheating players.

You have to be fukking joking, right. The reward for slow playing is now an A-rating with SBR. Scores of complaints and the vast majority of posters requesting a BOL downgrade, but SBR is instead going to raise them. 100% sellout.

"BOL doing business since 2006 with no (known) cases of cheating players"--what a great promotional piece. Well it hasn't been for lack of trying because their hand is constantly caught "in the cookie jar". Sickening, IMO.

It likely means the Sportsbetting's rating will be raised from D to a rating closer to BetOnline, although HH wants to see BetOline move toward Sportsbetting.

Not according to the report attached to this thread. SBR is actually considering upgrading BOL from its already overly inflated B+ rating. At least that's what I take from it.

Of course it was "credited." The funny thing is even if they paid him, why not pay all the BOL players first before squiring a new book and paying them?

This is not my opinion this is a fact based on what i know to be true. I don't recall reading anywhere of people not being paid by them, only delays in payouts. Another fact and not opinion, i have used them and have been paid promptly by them multiple times without any issues.
Now quit moving from what this whole thread is about, u can say anything u want but r u talking out your ass or r u gonna wake the hell up and realize a guy which i read about got stiffed and got a bailout from Betonline is getting paid. I have no need to think otherwise that this guy is not getting paid.

Exactly, they have left dozens of sportsbetting clients (just from SBR site) waiting for several months for the payout, and a week ago, they just decided to hold at least 75% of request amount for at least 30 more days. Raise their rating, SBR/Lou, you really want to sacrifice all the reputation for this?

My thoughts exactly. I truly think they are in over their head with the sportsbetting acquisition and that is the reason why they are taking so long to pay their regular clients. Frustrating.

I have also been cheated by Sportsbetting.

This was an old complaint that I have filed already in 2009 as far as I remember, against the Sportsbetting.com group of books. They have closed my account and confiscated a very large balance including all deposits, due to a similar issue with the cheated player who has been credited by the new sportsbetting.ag ownership recently (having an account with a sister site).

Reading this through your news wire page, I thought I might have some hope still to get even a portion of the large balance confiscated, especially with the new management team have the desire to pay cheated players who filed a claim with SBR against the old Sportsbetting, as it states on the news page.

In the cheated player's case, it seems that they refunded only his deposits. In my case they confiscated everything (winnings AND deposits). At this point, I would really appreciate any help to get even a portion or even the deposits refunded, to compensate me for the utter theft. I have already filed another complaint today.

To support my case, below is the statement published by SBR on May 28, 2009, and the statement posted by Bankrollsports.com on November 29, 2008 in relation to this spicific case of theft, both of which have ruled in my favor and advised the sportsbook to pay me. Also I have an active account with betonline.ag that has been always in good standing for over 5 years now. I would appreciate a reply from the new Sportsbetting ownership in ragards to this matter. Thanks.

The player opened accounts at all three sportsbooks in June of 2008, depositing and playing consistently for five months. In November his accounts, which showed a profit of approximately $20,000, were frozen. The sportsbook cited a rule saying the player could only have an account at one sportsbook in the Sportsbetting.com Group. SBR has advised the sportsbook to pay the player for all wagers it booked since the player's funds were at risk. Bookmakers should have the ability to limit a player's action but should not retroactively void winning bets. Thus far Sportsbetting (SBR rating C-), Win4Real (SBR rating C-) and Racebook (SBR rating C-) have not agreed to pay the player for winning wagers, or even the winnings on the first of the three accounts joined. $9,500 in player deposits remain in possession of the sportsbook without an expla
