5dimes rep lies to me, then tries to cover it up

a half time line is a spread or moneyline for the outcome of the entire game.. current score is factored into the price...

and 2nd half bet.. is just that.. a bet on the 2nd half... both are different.. but seem like the same...

5 dimes offers a lot of halftime soccer bets for major leagues..

yes, I wasn't 100% sure, so I asked him, and he told me second half bet.

After the long convo, I realize the difference, but when I asked them they mislead me by telling me what a 2nd half bet was, and I now realize, they decided to answer my question with an answer that didn't directly relate to my question.

I just feel this is very unfair for them to not correctly answer my question, then feel they did nothing wrong

I agree with you that the first guy was wrong and he clearly said that "2nd half bets are only for the half". 5dimes has a bad reputation with its Customer Service, so I am not surprise with Andy's attitude(which is arrogant and rude). I hope you did not lose much and consider this as lesson for betting soccer.

he might has told you a 2nd half bet is for the 2nd half... but you didn't end up betting on a 2nd half bet.. u betted on a halt time line.. as i said there is a difference..

you asked a question about something else.. and placed a bet on a different thing..

5 dimes really didn't do anything wrong.. now had u given the rep the rotation number of the wager you were going to make and then he gave you wrong info.. then you would have a case..

but as it stand.. you made the wrong wager... kinda like a rookie going to the horse track ends up muffing a ticket.. you did pretty much the same thing..

i dont think he meant to... he isn't a linesmen and this is a bet they only really offer in soccer.. 99% of the time.. you are making a "2nd half" bet... on major sports..

in soccer there are both 2nd half and halt time lines... they are different..

if it was my book and it wasn't a lot of money i would probably give it to you.. but its not..

Wow, shocking I haven't been in this section for 6+ months I come back and the first thing I see is someone has a legit complaint with 5Dimes and specifically their customer service, which SUCKS A*S!!!!!

So typical, I swear their customer service just gets worse and worse. Went through something similar (bad customer service) and basically received the same type of hostile, arrogant, douchebag type behavior.

Jasper - I don't think he did it on purpose but I think employees working for a company that allows their customer service reps to deal with customers this way are a lot less likely to perform the appropriate due diligence before answering questions, which is what happened to me and to this guy, I'm just lucky mine wasn't about betting on a game like his was but still cost me money.

Don't expect Tony to make it right. His book is already #1 so he can simply ignore these type if poor customer service incidents and still remain #1

Now, just read over your original post again, I think there is a mis-communication, you asked about half-time bet, but Allan answered about second half bet. These are essentially two different bets.

IMO it will come down to this.......ask for the chat to be reviewed.....I think they will look at how much you bet and if you have ever made that exact type of wager before. If you have made that exact wager b4 you are out of luck. If you have not made that exact wager before and you dont bet soccer a lot nor for big amounts; maybe they give you the wager amount back....

All goes down to whether they believe you or not...if you bet soccer for any length of time or for any serious money, then I dont think so...if you are a noob you might get it back

GL
