    Problem with bovada
I read a lot a negative things about bovada. I just requested a payout about 10 days ago. i got a feeling i will be waiting a good while to get it. If and when i get it I am worried about my bank accepting it.i live in the usa and when i received payouts before when they where bodog instead of bovada i never had a problem depositing those checks but they came from a location that was in the usa i beleive somewhere in new york, but the payout i requested from bovada will be a internatinal check and i am scared that my bank my not take it. now since bodog changed to bovada they now have this disclaimer when you request a payout...DISCLAIMER (To prevent a problem cashing your check please ensure it is deposited by ATM to a bank account under your name. If you do not have a bank account please contact us to discuss alternative options.) as you can see they tell you to do it by atm. With the checks i recieved from bodog all i ever had to do was go to my bank and just give it to the bank teller and they made the deposit. They always put a hold on it but it always cleared with no problem, but the way the disclaimer reads with bovada i anticipate problems if i just take it into my bank and try to deposit it like i used to do with checks from bodog, i went to my bank and it looks like they only have a night drop but no atm deposits. dose anyone know the safest or best way to try to deposit this check when i finally do get it. do you think they will accept it. i am so nervous after reading all the negative things about bovada and to think i might not be able to collect after depositing thousands of dollars into my

    1) you don't have a problem with Bovada
    2) there is a Bovada payout thread, with a million freaking posts
    3) you're not the only US player to receive a check from Bovada. US players deposit these checks everyday with no problems.

Good Lord, you're "scared"? Grow a pair will you. It's a friggin bank. And YOU are the customer, so they are there to SERVE YOU. Just follow instructions and deposit the check at an ATM. I'm sure they have one somewhere in close proximity to you. If there ends up being a hassle, give another bank your business.

I mean come on, you know Feds have made it a bit hard for financial cash outs, so you know the drill. If it makes you uncomfortable the way your paid from there, than don't play there. But stop acting like some pansy, ooooooooooh, my bank might not take a check, ooooooooooh. Banks are like any other business with the exception of some Federal oversight, but its their prerogative to cash or not cash any check they want. Some banks could care less, others make a big deal about it. Last I checked, there are lots of banks. I'd be willing to bet there are over 50 different ones in a 15 mile radius from you.

Your just cashing a check, you're not smuggling proceeds from illegal uranium smuggling for heavens sake.

it was a simple question. do you really got to get on here calling me names for asking for advice? after reading all the negative things i have read about Bovada and people not being able to get there checks cashed...i think i have a right to be worried, especially after i have made deposit after deposit to them. i have not requested a payout since they changed from Bodog to Bovada. at first i did not think it would be a big deal in the change, but when i used to get checks from Bodog within a week and now since they changed to Bovada its now 25 buisness days to collect, and from what i read i will be lucky to get it that quick, and i am not really worried about the time, but a lot of time and money has been invested just building up enough to make a withdraw. The efforts made to get them money on deposits was a true pain through w/u, and to think you might stand a chance of not being able to collect dose make me worry a little bit. Man i really do thank you for advice but calling people names over someone wanting advice from somebody that may have a little more exsperience than me is uncalled for.

If the possibility of you not collecting your payout is causing you this much stress you shouldn't have money online. Although, the possibility of you not collecting this payout is roughly 0%.

Where are you reading about all these problems with Bovada payouts when you don't even know about the Bovada payout thread on this forum? and I haven't heard of one person who hasn't collect a payout and I follow 3 threads throughout 3 forums on Bovada forums. The biggest problem with Bovada payouts is how long it takes to receive.

Don't worry about the ATM thing either. I've never put my check in the ATM because my bank doesn't have one.

If you use the ATM to deposit you will be alright but if you actually go into the bank and use a teller to deposit the check you will most likely be arrested on the spot.

I googgled bovada payouts and it had people from sbr coplaining, and i read them. i don't know much about all this stuff, and only registered with sbr to ask a question after i saw a lot of people complaining, and honestly the complaints i saw took place between April and May so who knows bovada may have got better with the problems, but my main concern was what you addressed about the ATM. my bank dose not have one either, but dose have a night drop. bovada says to deposit it through ATM,so i really don't know the best way to do it. Night drop or go to the bank teller.

I use the bank teller all the time because the ATM at the bank nearest to me sometimes can't read the check and rejects them. I'm not sure why Bovada says use an ATM. If people are under the assumption a bank employee is going to quiz you about the check, they don't. In my experience the only thing they say is "have a nice day".

Thanks man I really apreciate it. I always took my checks from Bodog to the teller and never a problem but since bovada said ATM I really did not know what to do. Thanks again

I never called you any names. I suggested you grow a pair, and I said to stop ACTING like a pansy. Now, granted I mocked you using some obvious sarcasm, and your over dramatic ramblings with the ridiculous choice of using the word scared over cashing a check made you worthy of being mocked, but if you read my post carefully, you'll not find any instances of directly being called any name, not even once.

Now if you were complaining about being ridiculed, you'd have a legitimate basis for that, because you were being ridiculed, but you were never called a name. Try being a little more observant and choose your words a little more carefully.

I asked the same question when I saw you open two almost identical threads in the same 24 hour span. One called Problem with Bovada and another one called Bovada problem need help. And I wondered, "Is that really necessary?" Especially considering they both tell the same tired story.

You know, when those red lines appear under words you type, that means they're spelled incorrectly. You might want to correct some of them when they obviously show up on just about every third word you type.
