I know I'm gonna get all kind of smartazz answers but I was just wondering how much you think you can win off shore from 5dimes, betisland or bookmaker before they'll ban you?

5dimes: it depends on how you beat them. If you hit parlays or beat them on major markets, they are pretty tolerant. If you win on small stuff, expect to have your limits cut.
BM: As much as you like. If you are a steam chaser, they will take countermeasures.

The question wasn't silly at all.....if you win enough will you get paid and whats the limit before you get the door....That was the purpose of the question......What's Bovada rated????? And even though those people may be getting paid slowly how many are sweating it and how many that don't know about forums may not be getting paid at all.Comment -
not a silly question... like justin said, if you beat a book on parlays or alt.lines and show no signs of chasing steam and win by betting bad numbers, they wont mess with your limits because they know they will get it back and then some...if your plays begin to look sharper and you are getting the best numbers and are beating the closer, then you will get cut.Comment -

If you come in on soccer and ring thier bell right away you will usually have your limits cut also right away at almost every shop... everything else you got a little room unless hitting steam, that is also a no no. Hitting parlays and teasers you get a little time because they are considered sucker bets basically especially over 3 teams... and they know you will lose consistently in the long run. The rest depends on the service and the guy watching the hen house for that shift... The old school books are more inclined to let you run out pretty far as long as they dont think your action is wise... they know you will lose it back. Some books will keep you even if your wise if your not coming in big, they will then include you with some of the other wise action on the sheet to push lines early. A pro linesman can look at your first days action and know right away if your sharp, some of the best linesman can look at only 1 or 2 bets and know if your sharp.Comment -
