Parlays are a lot like poker tournaments? Poker tournaments usually have a 9% hold, if you have superior skills they are + EV to a player, and you usually get paid back more than your buy in for finishing any spot in the top 15% of entrants, which reduces your risk of ruin.

6 team parlays have a high hold %, they are -EV to the player, and you only get paid when you hit all legs which makes your risk of ruin very probable.

So I guess, parlays really aren't like poker tournaments at all, are they?

But hey, thanks for your insight. I'm sure the bookmakers are now shaking in fear now that you've uncovered this well kept secret with your insight.

Thanks for that and your right smaller teams bigger amount and I love his everyone knocks Mayweather bit every time hr puts in a huge bet it wins so he's doing something right
