    Betonline horrible customer service
I made 4 props bets totaling $480 on I'll Have Another to win the Belmont & the Horse was scatched.
Immediately on Friday after I heard the news I called up & customer service told me to call back later.
Again Friday about 6PM I called & asked customer service why the bets had not been cancelled, she told me they couldn't be cancelled until the day of the race so that Saturday they would be cancelled. Went to bed Friday night feeling comfortable that the bets would be cancelled Saturday

On Saturday I called back and talked to a rep took her name, & the time of the call she assured me the bets would be canceled after the race she did so after putting me on hold and talking to a supervisor. I did this because the Greek & other books I've use always could go back to the
saved calls to resolve any disputes, & even if the rep was to give me wrong info that info was always honored. Not with this sportsbook, After the race they scored
    all the bets as losses.

I called back up and after 20 minutes of back & forth they said they were sorry but the scoring of the bets
    wouldn't be changed.

I bet this bet also at 5 Dimes & they cancelled, at ABC Islands & they said theyed cancel, At another book I couldn't cancel as it stated ALL BETS ARE ACTION! I had no problem with that as they specifically stated the stipulations of the bet. Betonline has nothing like that on the whole website.

There service reps kept me thinking theyed cancel the bet after talking to them I had no reson to believe otherwise. After reading some of the problems others have had with this group I'm taking the remainder of the money I have in this book,
hope I don't have to go through the nonsense many of the other posters here mentioned.

Terriblesituation. Did they quote you a rule that governs horse racing prop bets? Sometimes they are hidden deep into the rules section of the website. That other book did good to inform you that all bets are action.

Actually the last rep I spoke to tried to quote something that obviously she didn't understand & to my mind certainly didn't apply to anything associated with a prop or future bet.

I gave there site more than a cursory glance and the only things I came up with were:

      Future

A future bet is a wager on an event or outcome that will be determined sometime in the future. For example, it might be a bet made at the start of the season on the Denver Broncos to win the Super Bowl. Future odds change continuously throughout the season - YOU GET THE ODDS IN EFFECT AT THE TIME YOU BET. Future bets often have high odds.

Nothing can be construed from these rules not positive to my case!

      and

      Scratches

All exacta, trifecta, superfecta, quinella, win, place and show bets will be refunded in the event that a horse is scratched. The portion of combos that include said horse will be refunded as well.

They must be doing poorly to treat customers so shabbily in order to get a few bucks back in their pockets!

I would recommend that you submit a complaint form.

You should have the right to know why your bet was graded the way it was. Betonline should have to quote a rule that clearly stipulates that bets of your nature are action. SBR usually will often get in touch with top rated bookies and investigate very quickly.

I already have done that! After ssubmitting a complaint, how do I know the outcome of SBR's findings? I've been checking out SBR for 10 years but just today became a member!

First you will receive a receipt. Basically a copy of what you submitted. Then one of the dispute analysts will get in touch with you to let you know they are investigating it. After that it is no way to know how long it will take. I have never submitted a complaint about a sbr top rated bookie before, but they have said before that they often settle disputes with A/B bookies very quickly. This does not sound like an all that complicated matter as either they have a rule or they do not.

Then after the investigation is over they will e-mail you with the findings. They are very good at what they do and fight for the player. If BOL is not able to produce documentation that all bets of your nature are action, then I think you will get your money back.

I know they have had complaints about prop bets before where rules were non-existant or not very clear.

I can personally attest to their efforts as they did help me get $2000 from a jazette book. They also contributed heavily in getting me paid more than that by another book.

How was the prop worded? Did it say "action" or "all in"?

IMO your bets should be canceled and your funds returned. But I doubt BOL will do the right thing w/o SBR pressure. You should take a few minutes and fill out the above complaint form.

That proves my point completely, selective cancellation, proves they do not have any rule about not cancelling future bets! Thanx for the post, it looks like you got cancelled because you would have been a winner & I didn't get cancelled so they could take my money! They had to cancel both sides in order to be reputable. BO low class all the way, this is getting interesting!

Nice twist to the thread.... Cannot imagine this helping BOL in a time when people are complaining more and more about them already. This time they cannot blame it on payment processors and other bs though. It is as if taken out of the Oddsmaker playbook!

At the same time when I called Betonline Friday and they told me they couldn't cancel the bet until the day of the event but they would cancel it Saturday, they cancelled the winning side of the bet Buckeyeburritos made that very same Friday, so even that was a lie. When Saturday came along they decided they could get away with cancelling the winning side but letting the losing side stand. Devious for certain.
