Sportingbet (SBR rating C-) refuses to grade Russian soccer wagers placed over six months ago.

The sportsbook states they are investigating the validity of the result despite being unable to refer to any official league investigation and that wagers with other bookmakers have been graded days after the match. Sportingbet has encouraged players to request the wager be canceled and have their risked funds returned. Sportingbet players also continue to complain about the books refusal to honor documented wagering incentive offers. Players report being offered a risk-free wager of 50£. If the bet loses and the player seeks to collect refunded losses, customer service has offered the canned response "Interactive Sports (CI) Limited has the right to cancel or withdraw this offer or change any of its terms at any time and without cause/notice".

Yikes. Hate to overreact to these things but I'd say that a possible downgrade should be explored. Situations like this don't shed a very good light on the financial situation of the book.

No doubt they had no problem grading any losing bets on the match, but they are "encouraging" winning bets to have their bets voided to get their stake back - theft of winnings in my opinion.

What with this and their bending over backwards to avoid paying out their "risk free" bet bonus (including highly creative interpretation of terms), they're just a joke of a book really

        Hello, new here

I signed up for their £150 promotion - they said they would give £10 free for each of your first ten winning bets and I think £50 if your first 10 bets were winners.

They let me make one £10 bet on the horse racing which lost and one £50 bet on the horse racing which also lost before imposing limits which meant I could no longer bet on the horses. Nice, I had only made two bets!

Then they gave me one free £10 bet. Once I had used that, they continued to let me bet on most things except horses letting me lose my bets since they wouldn't have to give me a free bet. When I had qualified for a second free £10 (because a bet actually won), they wrote to tell me I wasn't a recreational gambler! Yes, my biggest bet there was £50, and somehow I'm a professional - I wish!

Oh, the next email I received from them was to invite me to their £50 "no loss" bet offer (the one others have complained to this site about) even though I was supposedly not able to particpate being the professional gambler I am. I didn't bother going back of course.

I didn't lose out because when they rejected my payout request (still no idea why) for £31, I just bet it and it became £160 which they then did pay out.

However, when you tell someone they can make a no-loss £50 bet, they may well make a bet they wouldn't ordinarily make (taking a long shot because they know they can always get a free bet out of it anyway) then to turn around and renege on that no-loss offer stinks in my opinion.

Reading this thread and what they're trying just adds to my feeling that these aren't a trustworthy bookmaker at all.

When it comes to bonus promotions it is not unusual for sportingbet to renege on them even if you get email confirmation that you are eligible for them.
