    Can anyone answer this?
I did two accumulators for baseball. On one of them one of the games was made void because of one pitcher not starting.....so i went and checked the other accume to make sure all had started...

I came to Cleveland Indians(Floyd) vrs Boston(Lester) and the bet was settled as a loser cos i backed over 9 runs and there were only 7.....now i noticed that floyd didnt start for cleveland and to my recollection i dont even think he plays with them.....i checked the results page on paddypower and they have all market bets void on the first match(ladodgers vrs padres) - and rightfully so...but all bets on the red sox game stand...some lad called sarrows started the pitching..unless his nickname is floyd but i dont know

surely i shud get that part of the accume made void??this ever happen to anyone before?

FWIW joe, I'm not familiar with the betting term "accumulator" and I don't know the specific rules of Paddy Power - but on a straight totals bet everywhere I play, you automatically default to listed pitchers. So your bet would be a void.

"Floyd" just looks like an out-and-out mistake on the part of the book. The conclusion remains: void.

I think we can discard the notion of it possibly being okay due to being a nickname.

As to the question of if it has ever happened before, I'm not sure. I've been placing a lot of bets for a long time so things like this do happen. I would just phone the book and ask them to straighten it out.

Mudcat, an 'Accumulator' is another word for a 'Parlay', they are the same thing.

Callmejoe, the listed pitcher must start for a Baseball wager to be accepted or valid. (I would advise you check paddypowers rules). If paddypower did in fact post an incorrect pitcher, the bet or selection should be voided. I'm sure if your selection won they would void it on that basis. I bet with paddypower and they are nice to deal with, so I hope the resolution is to your liking. Keep us posted!

cheers lads.i rang them up and theyve voided all bets...i spot quiet a lot of mistakes by this bookie that never get sorted..ive put bets on players to get a par on a hole etc and theyd get a bogey yet paddypower would settle the result as a par...of course i dont complain when ive benefited but surely a bookies should be better equiped than this..i have to double check every result of a bet i put on from now on

Have you spoken to Paddypower in regards to this Callmejoe?

Glad to see it was settled in your favour as it ought to have been. Never seen grading mistakes with PP and I always check my bets . At least they corrected their mistake! I wouldn't mind a lost bet graded as a win . The best I have got, is two free bets instead of one which both won a few quid so I can't really complain.
