BetOnline to be seized or leaving US market?
    Read this article at Beyondthebets.com

One source believes BetOnline is “setting up to leave the U.S. market,” while another is fearful that the offshore could become the latest book to be seized. Currently, BetOnline is one of only a handful of prominent books that continues to use a dot-com URL.
“I have heard that something is amiss from a couple of people with direct knowledge,” one source said. “My problem is, I haven’t been able to confirm anything myself. I can’t get the whole story. But they both told me to get out independently.”

Would love to hear some people weigh in. I was going to play there for Baseball thanks to their generous dime lines.

Also why would they not change their URL from .com to . anything?

I'm really getting sick of having to worry about this kind of thing!

I usually got to the site a few times a week. The site offers allot of newsworthy betting information with the goal to inform with no agenda or pick selling. This article is worth a read although I am not sure how valid it is. Sounds like Mason is denying it (of course) but just wanted to see if anyone else has heard any information.

I wouldn't think so with them being aggressive with openers

It's pretty clear BOL's not going to leave the U.S. market willingly---but aggressive operators haven't fared well. It seems that BTB's guy is responding to nothing more than board chatter, and his ability to get an email returned from the BOL marketing guy. He seems like a pretty shrewd echo-chamber participant and fence-sitter.

Why any large operation serving USA customers does not transfer from .com to a domain that can not be readily seized is boggling. At least have a back up in operation for the contingency
