I'm new to sports, and I noticed that a lot of the popular books have the quarters at -115, while the game and half is -110. I'm curious why they increase the juice for quarters.
Why do sportsbooks have quaters at -115?

#25dimes doesn't do that. They have -110 for quarters. I know some books do and I can't understand it either.Comment -

#3Perhaps they are unsure about median odds, and they increase margin to cover possible losses.
or they simpy take advantage of people unable to resist bad value.Comment -

#4Because they can and idiots still bet it. Same reason they can offer -115 on the coin toss of the superbowl and someone will bet it.Comment -
