BetPhoenix (SBR rating B-) in discussions to acquire BetMania (SBR rating D). Sources tell SBR that if the deal goes through BetMania will be maintained as a separate brand under BetPhoenix operation.

#9They are still having payout problems today. Fred is a nice guy and he seems to be making an honest effort but it doesn't change the fact they have payouts that have been pending 6+ weeks.Comment -

#11To clarify, I personally have payouts that were requested over 6 weeks ago that are still pending.
To further clarify, I have gotten a few payouts from them. I'm not particularly concerned I'll be stiffed.
But yep - still waiting on 2 payouts initially requested in early August.Comment -

#14I'll see if I can illustrate what I have seen.
I decided I wanted to cash out in early August. It was a mid 4-figure balance. So first of all, they would only accept payout requests of $1000 max per day. And they said Moneygram payouts would take 1 week.
So I accept that. I enter requests 5 days in a row.
They go straight into slow-pay mode. That one week wait becomes 3. I don't remember a particular excuse. It was just the typical thing where they keep putting you off a few more days and a few more days etc.
A payout comes. Next day, I ask for the next payout which is now 3 weeks late. But in their mind, I just got a payout and payouts take a week so I can't get another for another week. So at this point it wasn't so much excuses as bureaucratic nonsense.
A week later, I get another 1K. A week later I get another. They did miss a week in there when they moved and switched over the website. But then we got back on track. I fully expect to get a Moneygram this week. If things keep going like this, by the time I get the final payout it will be 2 months after I requested it.
I have no explanation for what bigloser is experiencing. I know quite a few people who got slow-pays sorted out over the summer. I strongly recommend phoning Fred. The extension I have for him is #3001. He is very busy and is in a bit of a difficult situation but he seems to be making an honest effort.Comment -
