Does it make sense to play a slightly worse line like taking -110 instead of -108 to meet free play requirements? I opened a new account with a 100% free play and I am not giving this new book much action because the prices are usually worse than the reduced juice lines at 5dimes.

so you've discovered the drawback to accepting bonuses subject to rollover which most bonus hunters seem to ignore
best policy is to scalp your way out and lose your deposit and bonus on a big dog at that book which will extinguish your rollover commitmentComment -

#3i wouldnt do it unless u need more action than the limits set by the -108 book. (prolly not)
beyond that.. dont rush a rollover.. play ur bankroll over a month or few weeks or an entire season.. rollover will then be irrelevant..
this nonsense of people depositing monday to cashout thurs or friday is absolutely ignorant... especially if ur gonna go back and deposit monday again

#4I am just a really small player. By no means am I looking to withdraw in a week. Your probable right play it like I normally would and if it takes me 2 years to roll it over then so be it.Comment -

#5What everyone is neglecting to mention here is that the amount counted towards rollover is the lesser of the risk/win amount. So as far as the rollover is concerned, the juice is irrelevant. Whether you're laying -110 to win 100 or -108 to win 100, either way only 100 is being counted towards rollover. It makes no sense to purposely avoid betting reduced juice.Comment -

of course it makes a difference unless you expect to lose all your betsComment -

#7Don't forget there's a time-cost in terms of being able to re-use the funds elsewhere, and also a substantial sized risk factor offshore of the book hitting choppy water.Comment -

#8if it is very difficult to get a good line at your book, then a -110 and -108 difference is not all that big. pay attn to Hareeba as indeed FP is best used on long odds.Comment -

#9The free play is at Justbet if that helps some of you guys with your answers to me. They have great customer service but like I said I am finding the lines rarely beat 5dimes reduced juice. I appreciate everyone's insight on this. Just makes me realize how valuable reduced juice is.Comment -

He's saying he has rollover to meet at a book with higher vig, so should he make bets there and have to pay a little more vig, or should he just keep betting the best price (almost always will be at the reduced vig book).[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#11^ and it appears he doesn't have rollover at 5 Dimes, so he's not meeting any requirements there.
The choices:
A)Bet slightly higher vig but bets count towards rollover.
B)Bet lower vig at 5 Dimes but bets don't complete any rollover. They're just bets.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual
