Arrested Dimitris Drosos a European arrest warrant

He was arrested at noon Thursday in P. Faliro, the 47chronos Dimitris Drosos, former owner of the Sporting Basketball team and AEK, who prosecuted a European Arrest Warrant by the Maltese authorities for offenses of embezzlement, fraud, infidelity and abuse during the task.

According to the warrant the person, company director betting abused in Malta in 2009 the amount of 500,000 euros from foreign players betting accounts.

The arrest, which took place after several months of investigations conducted by officers of the Department search and the Department of Property Rights Protection of Attica Security Division.

The arrested Friday will be led to Mr. Appeals Prosecutor of Athens.

Dimitrios Drosos, 45, director of betting company Gold Victory Ltd, has been jailed for 14 months after being convicted of defrauding several people of a total of €500,000.
The court found that the Malta-based company had not paid winnings to several players and the accused had pocketed the money.
€70,000 paid by the accused as bail money were forfeited after it was established that Drosos,a Greek national resident in Kappara, had jumped bail and escaped from Malta.
He was re-arrested on the strength of a European arrest warrant

Good news , some other people from other bookies should go to jail .Mainly ,cuz they void bets without any reason , that's a robbery too.
If they want to limit ,that's not a problem,it's their bussiness and they decide who to do bussinnes with . But accepting and voiding bets later is criminal .
