Am i wrong? or is Carbon Poker wrong?
    Hey guys,

I was a customer of Sportsbook.ag for about 4-5 years, and recently, i got into an argument over the live chat with a Rep. regarding bonuses. I told them that i would never deposit on sportsbook again. The next day, i found that they had closed my account. So i called them, and told them that i was fine with their decision, but i was curious if i would be able to play on other Merge sites, such as Carbon, and Lock. The manager i spoke to (Victor) told me that it was fine, and it was just Sportsbook that i was locked from.

Now i deposited 20 bucks on Carbon a couple of days ago, and in about 5-6 hours i turned the 20 in to $1,200. The next day i was playing in a cash game, and the software suddenly closes, and says ive been suspended. After emailing their support over and over, they tell me that they suspect that I was cheating in some way. (I actually figured this was going to happen since i went from 20.00 to 1,200.00 so fast). Now today, i emailed them saying that i have never cheated in any way, and the rep told me that i wasnt closed due to cheating but in fact because of a problem i had on a different skin on their network (sportsbook). I told them that sportsbook's rep told me that it was ok if i play on a different site.

Now im just waiting for a reply. So, is there nothing i can do?

What do they have a feeling you cheated? What have they proved? If you played by the rules file a complaint. This outfit is known for some shady dealings in the past.

If you're telling the whole story I dont get why another skin on the network would close your account over an argument you had with your previous skin, makes no sense whatsoever. I've never dealt with merge, but have you tried to contact them directly explaining the situation and forwarding your complaint? Which skin did this happen at?

Ok, the original problem started on Sportsbook.ag. I got into an argument with one of there reps on the live support. Because of it, i told them that i would never deposit again, and they told me they were going to close my account, and said fine, go ahead. Later that day, i called sportsbook, and asked if i was allowed to play on another merge skin since they closed my account. They said they had nothing to do with the other rooms, so it was fine...So when i told this to Carbon's support, this is the email that i received-

            Hi Jason,

What this person told you is correct, you were able to play on Carbon or any other site aside from Sportsbook.ag since they work separatelyYet once Management on our end looked into the case and this matter you previously had with them, it was their decision to close this account of yours; I understand that you do not like this call, I hear your point and see where you are trying to get, but it is completely out of our hands to overrule this, I wish I could do something to help you but once a call like this is made, there's no turning back.

I'm not too familiar with merge, but I thought the owners of merge also owns and run Carbon, which is one of the biggest, if not the biggest site on the network. None of it makes any sense to me, they cant just close your account, take your $ with no explanation, unless there is something you're not revealing.

File a complaint with SBR, not sure it'll do much good, but if theres is nothing but the above behind this they deserve all the bad publicity they can get...

Oh no! Sorry, i guess i didnt explain everything...Since i turned the 20 dollars into 1,200, they are reversing the transaction, and returning my initial deposit ($20) back onto my DC, and are mailing me a check for the funds that i had($1,200). That wasnt the problem. The issue is that now since im basically 'banned' from all merge skins, theres nowhere to play with nearly the same amount of traffic. Usually on a good night, merge has like 10-12k people, and the other networks that people have suggested to me have like 2-3k people.

I misunderstood you. That's good that they are not confiscating your winnings. If they do not want your business, so be it. Good luck in finding another shop.

                    1. It's good they didn't confiscate your winnings. You may want to edit your original post.

                    2. Poker rooms are independent and have basically nothing to do with each other, even though they may be operating under the same network. Unless, of course, they are OWNED by the same person/entity. That does not mean they don't collaborate.

                    3. Nice run. I once turned $50 into $22,000 on BetFair in the span of four days (50 to 6,000 in the span of 4 hours). They'd do everything in their power to prevent me from withdrawing, and eventually (within a month of waiting) I get tempted and proceed to lose it all. I get sick to the stomach every time I remember this, and can never get sick of mentioning Betfair's absurd treatment towards me.

                    Cheers, enjoy your winnings!

As long as they pay you your balance, they are free to exclude you however they want.

Well, thats good at least, I dont think theres much to do about their decision then, but didnt they give you some kind of explanation? I couldnt see anywhere they said you cant go to another skin, that seemed to be Carbon's as a skin support telling you you arent welcome there? Did they somewhere say you're excluded from the entire network?

If not, maybe you could try BCP, RPM, and Lock, I think they're all reputable sites? Might be worth asking first though, unless they definitely told you you're not allowed on any site on the network.

Cake might be an alternative worst case scenario? Not sure about other US friendly good options since the FTP debacle...
