GetWin payout disputes

Three GetWin (SBR rating C-) payment complaints have been reported. A total of €1,687 is owed to the players. The player waiting the longest requested €313 on 12 December 2011. GetWin allegedly quoted the player a two to five business day time-frame to receive his withdrawal. All three of the players claim that GetWin is not responding to their payout inquiries. SBR is following up on these complaints.

On 14 December 2011, SBR reported that GetWin Sportsbook was attempting to turn the corner. The Malta-based sportsbook originally debuted in the SBR ratings guide at D-. GetWin players filed complaints regarding confiscations made in the name of "organized betting". The sportsbook claimed that players were guilty of collectively pooling funds to circumvent limits and other account sanctions. GetWin released a statement to that effect on 31 May 2011. The majority of affected players had their accounts reopened. GetWin never fully satisfied SBR's requests. The sportsbook managed to make it through the summer with no additional complaints and was subsequently removed from the SBR blacklist.

Was that not down to the LGA basically forcing them to?

Two of their directors were involved with another book which went bust owing thousands. They pick out players with high balances and will try any excuse in the book to get out of paying them. Can't see why any book that behaves like that would be awarded anything other than the lowest rating possible

Email from them this morning saying passed to their financial department and withdrawal will be completed soon...
whatever that means!!!

obviously im worry and first of all i hope to resolve the dispute, but i would inform you that they also void abusing!
voided every bet i made and update the odds with only -0.05 difference
they cannot be a C rated book

Wow...congratulations on getting paid, I'm on 11 days now awaiting around £650...still nothing...
Yesterday they did credit my account with £10 as a loyalty bonus and received an email again! saying in the queue and will be completed soon...
You getting paid has to be a good sign though...surely!!!

and me 820 dollars more than 2 weeks pay, write that I am standing in a queue. Documents examined more than 20 days. In total I was expecting more than a month. In response I get that I stand in line. Posted to the LGA, they are silent for several days. Today, wrote to SBR, tell long response wait?

guys I joined the forum because I'm worried: I requested payment of 800 euros on 3 January , they don't pay me. all documents have been verified.
Besides I still have on account 1400euros. what advice you give me, please?

i think they deliberately not paying people with big balances (winners) to have them go away. withdrawals under 100 euro are sent same day in Skrill. i'm out of there, seems like the promised weekly free bet for 1 year is gone too. strange behavior from getwin.

I have contacted the LGA and received this answer:


Dear David,

I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your e-mail dated 6th January 2012.

I have made contact with the Representative of Getwin Ltd. on your behalf about the matter you have raised; information has been requested with regards to the incident you refer to.

As soon as information becomes available to the Authority you will be notified accordingly.

Today Getwin wrote:

I am especially worried because they have written to me '"your case is still being considered by getwin.com financial department" as if my payment was in doubt.
