GetWin payout disputes
Three GetWin (SBR rating C-) payment complaints have been reported. A total of €1,687 is owed to the players. The player waiting the longest requested €313 on 12 December 2011. GetWin allegedly quoted the player a two to five business day time-frame to receive his withdrawal. All three of the players claim that GetWin is not responding to their payout inquiries. SBR is following up on these complaints.
On 14 December 2011, SBR reported that GetWin Sportsbook was attempting to turn the corner. The Malta-based sportsbook originally debuted in the SBR ratings guide at D-. GetWin players filed complaints regarding confiscations made in the name of "organized betting". The sportsbook claimed that players were guilty of collectively pooling funds to circumvent limits and other account sanctions. GetWin released a statement to that effect on 31 May 2011. The majority of affected players had their accounts reopened. GetWin never fully satisfied SBR's requests. The sportsbook managed to make it through the summer with no additional complaints and was subsequently removed from the SBR blacklist.
