Info need on Asian bookie Evebet
I came across this Asian bookie when it was advertising deposit 1000 euros and get 1000 euros free on a livescore website. Looking at the site they offer Asian handicap and lots more options for matches than 188bet and Mansion88. There site makes lots of strange noises when looking around it. If your email is more than 25 characters long then it wont accept it. They have been online for less than 6 months by the look of it and was established in the Philippines. They claim to take big limits and have some pictures of there building in the about us section.

There part of Galaxy Entertainment Inc. sir. Other than that I really don't know too much about them at this time. However, let me do some searching to see what else I can find out.

galaxy entertainment is a macau gaming giant. if evebet would be affiliated with them, that would mean they're very very solid, but galaxy has no mention of them at their website at all. it could be evebet is still in the beta stages and galaxy has not issued a press release about them (or I just haven't been able to find it), or they are part of "another" galaxy entertainment, which would strike me as quite dodgy.

furthermore, they claim to be licensed in the philipines, but the website of the philipine gaming regulator does not mention them at all. evebet does show a license-form on their website (very small so you cannot read it properly though) and a license number, so it could be the regulators website has not been updated yet (last update two weeks ago), but this would mean this book is extremely new.

the site does look very pretty, I must say. perhaps it's better to wait a few weeks before depositing to see if it all checks out though.

I decided to dip my toe in and see how and whats its all about. Ive had a mixed experience with them which i will share with you.

        The good things:
They have good odds and high limits with more options on the big leagues including more sports.
The live chat is brilliant but makes a strange sound when dialing up. You feel like you are talking to a real person by that i mean there is no auto message like you get with Sportsbook.com or 188bet or Mansion88. You can also choose whether you want to use your webcam and microphone to speak with them over live chat. The few problems ive had was all sorted via livechat which by the time i came off speaking to them it was sorted. They give you 50 Euros first deposit bonus but im not sure how you get the free match double credit but they did say you have to wait for your first bet to be settled.

        The bad things:
The website is still in its upgrading stage, sometimes you get a run over from the page of odds you was looking at previously.
You can choose which currency you want your account in so i chose GBP, however you can only deposit into your account via Moneybookers in USD or EUROS so you get ripped off by Moneybookers exchange rate. So i deposited in USD, i looked at my balance to find that i had 27,900 in there. I placed a wager then noticed that the balance was way higher than it should be so i went onto live chat to get it sorted. Indeed the money i deposited was changed from USD to RMB and put into my account as RMB instead of USD to GBP. So the bet i had placed was way less than i wagered. But all this was sorted when i went onto livechat, my balance was changed and my bet was changed to the correct amount i wanted in GBP. It may be another few weeks before all this is ironed out.

        But so far so good.

an update from my previous post.

they are not part of galaxy entertainment in macau (which is publicly traded in Hong Kong and would have been a rock solid reference), using the same name does makes you wonder a bit about these guys.

also, some more searching turned up they are actually licensed in the philippines but not with a first cagayan-license (like every other book licensed in the philippines, f.e. mansion88), but with a license from the zamboanga special economic zone, wherever that may be.
also, they appear to be the only company actually holding a license with that particular regulator, and they are located in the same building, on the same floor-level and even have the same pictures of the building up on their website as their regulators. something tells me you shouldn't count on unbiased supervision.

i'm not telling anyone not to play there, but don't expect a lot of help if you run into trouble.

Ive been with this book now for over a week and ive had mixed feelings regarding them more so bad.

In the 8 days ive been placing bets and getting to know the website etc and doing deposit and withdrawals ive had 11 bets cancelled claiming wrong odds which isnt good at all.

Their live chat can sometimes be very frustrating and sometimes they dont know what your on about.

Ive made 2 withdrawals since joining over a week ago. First one was to test the water and i got it the day after via Moneybookers. Then i requested a bigger amount and was only sent £1,000 not what i asked for. They claim that the maximum amount you can withdrawal is £1,000 a day but they dont and you cant make withdrawals between late Friday evening to Sunday evenings BST.

They have sorted the problem out regarding deposit and withdrawing in GBP instead of depositing in USD or EURO into your account.

Im concerned by there license just like Noyb.

There live betting is not the best. Once placing your bet you have to wait and watch the clock go down from 24 seconds before knowing if your bet as been accept which is a very long time in live betting terms. Not like 188bet, Mansion88, 12Bet and SboBet when you place a bet and its in the waiting list to be accepted you get the odds you placed at the time of the bet. This is not the case with Evebet, if the odds changes why you are in the 24 seconds countdown they dont accept your bet and tells you the odds have changed, not good when the odds are decreasing towards the end of the game. They claim they bet upto the 90th minute is some lives games but they have taken matches off in the 80th minute and some in the 85th minute.

They need to make alot of changes to become in line with 188bet etc but i will be very careful if you decide to open up and put money in there because it just all feels amateur.
