Actually, no. Only if you want their 50% cash bonus, and the $500 for first place prize for the rest of the season, must a deposit be made by saturday.
From the rules:
'If a player makes a deposit of $150 or more you will become eligbile to receive $500 as a 1st place prize if you place 1st any week all season. Also you will receive the standard 1st time/Re-load bonus for the contest of 50% CASH Bonus. Deposits must be made by the end of the day on Saturday game day.'
If you believe that this last line applies to all deposits made on the account, then that would mean a player cannot deposit for the rest of his life if he does not deposit in that first week.
Bet Rev is taking one line out of the rules - a line which applies to a bonus stipulation - and attempting to apply it to something unrelated so they can avoid a relatively small mid 3 figures payout.
Sounds like something a D+ rated book would do.Comment -

Quite misleading to say "everyone gave you the same conclusion" some people are smart enough to see what betrev is trying to do and have said they will never play there. Being a D+ rated book is probably reason enough to not play there, however.
I obviously was going to deposit, until they stole all the money above $150 out of my account without even sending an email, like a shady D+ book would do.

Take the 150 and run. Your not going to win. Personally I signed up at BR on a recomendation from a friend who loves Br. I only put $100 and took 100% deposit bonus, I completed the 10 or 12 time rollover whatever it was and when I called to cashout 700$ they congratulated me and I received my money in about 2 weeks. Id def recommend them so I doubt they wanna stiff u for your mid 3 figure cashout. You misunderstood the rules. It doesn't mae any sense. The book enters the contest to drum up business. So they want every1 who wins the contest to make a deposit. Making a small deposit will get ridrid of the shottakers.

2. betrevolution displayed a license on its website to an "Antiguan Gaming Commission". Forum readers at the Eye On Gambling website, where betrevolution now advertises, were able to determine that the claim was false by contacting the Directorate of Offshore Gaming in Antigua to confirm the licensing agreement. The DOGA allegedly stated that no applications were submitted for the domain betrevolution.com, and thus no such license existed.
betrevolution addressed the situation by downplaying the matter as an honest mistake and that they were in the process of acquiring a license, despite the fact that on a blog designed to promote the betrevolution brand, a fake license number was provided next to the Antiguan Gaming Commission logo.
