Switched from Bodog (Bovada) to 5dimes

After just two days it alread seems like a great decision.

Bodog/Bovada
Messing with their poker software was a big mistake on Bodog's part. I will never deposit another cent into their site now. I used to put up with the late and crappy lines only because I would play poker there and gamble some of my winnings in their sportsbook. Not anymore.

Overall I would rate Bodog a "C-". Their casino is rigged (Computer gets blackjack like every other hand). Their poker is rigged (I am up nearly 3k there per Sharkscope and I can almost call the BS cards that will fall on the river. Bad beats occur way more than they should). Finally, their lines suck and are always posted late with outrageous juice.

With that being said, Bodog never stiffed me. Even though it was starting to take longer and they were bouncing more checks on me, I always got paid. That was one of the main things keeping me there along with their poker. I do believe you will get paid but lately it seems like they send me bad check just to delay paying me in hopes that I lose all the money back. I'm just getting a bad feeling about them. The first check I recieve usually looks like a first grader made it and it doesn't go through. Then the second check looks legit and goes through no problem. Maybe I'm just paranoid.

Bottom line. I can vouch that they will eventually pay you if you win but it's hard as hell to win their because of their lines. Search "dual lines" also. It's another practice they implement.

So far I'm really digging 5dimes. Their customer service may not be the nicest but they get to the point and get you set up. It's kind of refreshing because it feels like you're speaking to a real person instead of someone that is just giving you the run around. I don't need the guy I'm chatting with to BS with me. I just want to gamble, get fair lines, and get paid if I win.

5dimes puts their lines up earlier. There is less juice. There are more things to bet on and more bets to make. I love how they have so many alternate spreads to bet on for each game. Gone are the days of Bodog forcing me to take a team that is -3 while paying -150. That's just ridiculous. Sometimes Bodog won't move lines they just juice the hell out of them. It seems like you get truer lines here than you do at Bodog.

My poker name on Bodog is BigDofBA. Sharkscope me. I'm up like 3k and I still think it's rigged as hell. It got the the point where I could almost call the river mainly on pots when I have a huge hand and some donk keeps calling.

It's not like I'm crying rigged because I suck. I'm up thousands on online sites.

The software allows bad players to catch up at a ridiculous rate. I don't know how many times someone goes all in after the flop with absolutely nothing, I call with pocket aces or Kings, and they turn and river me. Beats like this happen way too often.

People get their chips in horrible and
Miracles happen. Quads is an everyday thing there and I have lost multiple times because a one outer hit on the river to give a guy a straight flush.

Bodog pays out....if you win. It's a decent option for recreational sports bettor although I doubt many people turn profit with all the juice you pay there.

Having concerns or complaints about certain books does not mean that I don't feel comfortable having money in them. I agree FTP was horrible. I don't know how man time I had a full house and lose to quads.

When you have pocket aces and raise the pot pre-flop, then the flop comes 555 and tour opponent has ace 5, you have to start wondering.

I understand this may happen once in a while but when then the same exact scenario would happen the next day.

People go all with ace rag and beat your ace king like 50% of the time. It shouldn't be like that.

Likewise, when I have a big pocket pair and someone goes all in pre flop with a Hand like pocket 3s, I feel like I should win a lot more than I lose.

It's almost like these site induce action. I don't know how times people go all in on a gunshot draw, I have trips so I have to call, then they hit the miracle card on the river.

Always funny to hear a poker fish complaining about "rigged" software. This time though, we get an extra treat, this genius claims he's a winning player and asks us to sharkscope him cause he's up 3k. What he fails to mention is the $2850 he's up was accumulated by playing 9,000 games at the $5 and $10 levels. (.30 cents a game is nothing to be overly proud of).

Sorry to break this to you son, but a chimpanzee will probably be up 3k after 9,000 games at those levels at bodog, that's how bad the players are at the low stake level. If you want to sharkscope someone, try the player named abrafo, and ask yourself if he could beat $100 heads up games at a 62% clip through 7,000+ games with "tainted" software? Iv'e played 2400 games there and my win % is just about what it was through 9,000 games at pokerstars. If you want to win more at poker, stop blaming "rigged" software and perhaps try to improve.

Have you ever rolled 12 on a dice roll? That's 35-1, a 1 out river is 43-1. If you roll the dice over and over, are you that shocked when a 12 gets rolled once in a while?

Many of them have in the past (including current A rated books) in some way or form. Just because you are too new to the industry to remember Cascade or even WSEX does not make those cases less relevant; it just makes you less relevant. And as you are clearly unable to comprehend, criticism of a book for certain practices is not the same as saying don't play with there. I have to give credit where it is due Legion. To come back and admit you misread something and apologize says a lot about your character .

I do not like Bovadas casino i feel it is obviously rigged. I have lost cash in the past in there and they do get 21 or a 20 every other hand . You can see this for yourself .

Go in and log in . The program they use when you log in is the same for both play for fun and real money. I play almost everyday for fun starting with the 1000 they give you. Then just bet 500 a hand and watch the insanity.

I go in and try 10 times to get from 1000 to 3000 in play cash . In 10 tries today i got there one time . In a real casino i can take 1000 to 3000 7 out of 10 times easy. If you keep track of their 21s to yours you will see a 4-1 ratio . And watch how often they go over compared to you . Get to love 12s cause you get a lot betting 500 a hand.

Then log out and play and watch the difference.
