    Betonline-Poor customer service
    I made a $300 deposit at BetOnline tonight to play some poker and immediately checked my sportsbook balance and saw $600 in the account. I checked my emails and yes they had charged me two $300 transactions-12 seconds apart.

    I went on Live Chat and after an eternity, they agreed to credit back the 2nd $300 charge but it would be 7 business days even though the original charge took 12 seconds. So i asked them what they would do for me for the inconvenience and they said nothing.

    After double-charging me and making me go through an eternity on live chat to get it fixed, I decided to get the original charge refunded as well. The whole process took 1.5 hours on live chat. Here is the log and I will post when I received the credits back to my CC account. I don't feel comfortable playing where the customer service is this bad.

    Bart: NO. I only did one transaction but for some reason it went through twice.

    Allan Kam: one at 5:43:58 pm the other one at 5:43:46 pm
    Bart: I only went through the process once. The system screwed up and processed it twice. I only entered the CC information and amount ONCE!
    Bart: Those are 12 seconds apart. I couldn't possibly enter all of the required information in that amount of time.
    Allan Kam: let confirmed beacuse almors 14 second between hem is strange
    Bart: Just credit me back for one of the deposits and set my account at $300 plus the freeplay.
    Bart: Are you still there?
    Allan Kam: im here bart im checkin
    Bart: Simple sysem error and double-charge. Just fix it and let me go on my way.

    Allan Kam: we will refund id but it take 7 business days in order to be transferred

    Bart: It took 12 seconds to charge me!
    Allan Kam: thats the time frame.. 7 bussined days
    Bart: I process ************ and credits everyday in my business. It should not take more than 2 days for me to see the credit.

    Bart: I want both returned. I refuse to play where I am double-charged and I have to spend over an hour on chat to get it resolved adn I am offered nothing for the inconvience.

          I like the lines they offer, but their live chat is terrible, not friendly and slow to respond, unless you want to talk deposit. Avoid using CC if possible, but if you have to, scan the back and front of card immediately, because they are going to ask for it before payout.

            I was happy with the site until this instance and if they had done one of two things, I would have stayed with them. Either immediately credit back my card for the duplicate charge , or offer me something for the inconvenience for having to wait 10 days for the credit back to my card. I don't think I'm being unreasonable here at all.

              Both deposits were credited back to my CC account today. This experience will keep me from playing there again though.

                This just happened to me today as well. I was double charged numerous times for 25 dollar deposits paying 150 dollars for 75 dollars worth of deposits. They told me to tell my bank that these charges were valid or my account would be closed. I tried to explain that 75 dollars of these charges were valid and they show up on my transaction history. It was the other 75 dollars that were invalid due to double charging. He just told me I would never be able to bet anywhere again and the 400 dollars I made would be forfeited.

                      You obviously didn't read all of my op or weren't smart enough to understand it.

                      I was double-charged, then I had to spend 1 hour and 30 minutes on live chat to get them to agree to refund me but it would take them 10 days to do so and I'm a whiny little bitch. You sir are a ******* idiot!

                        Now they told me they are reviewing my account. I deposited 25 dollars on the 14th and this charge shows up as valid and paid for on my bank account. They also took 75 dollars from my winnings the exact amount they say I owe them. After telling them this they said they would review my account and let me know in 24-48 hours/

                            He's not asking them for a "handout." They're taking his money for 7 days without permission because of a screwup on their processor's end, and after him having to waste all that time in chat getting it corrected, and then being on the hook for that amount for 7 days, he's certainly entitled to some sort of compensation.

                              Thanks Skrtelfan: That's the way I saw it. I just wanted the error fixed quickly. If they could have done that, i wouldn't have asked for anything and I would have kept playing there. I really didn't give a shit about a freeplay or anything, I just couldn't believe that they wouldn't even offer something for the inconvenience. I never take a bonus on my deposits as I don't want to screw with rollovers.
