In my home country and perhaps throughout asia there are ppl becoming illegal bookies on bookmakers like ibcbet. I don't think ibcbet employs them the thing is ibc bet only allows a select group of ppl to open an account with them. These ppl that own these accounts in turn recruit a group of underlings that in turn recruit another group further down to get more customers to bet on their accounts. In short they become the bookies. They don't need to make money from betting on ibc, instead they make money from their customers that are playing on their accounts. I read that it's not only 1 tier but something like 3 tiered. The one holding the account is like the head of the family tree.
The problem with such a set up is there's no accountability. The customers just have to trust the bookies that they will pay up if their bets win and some bookies need to trust their customers since some of them allow a 50% deposit to play first to attract more customers.
I'm just kindof surprised that ibcbet allows this type of shtick to go on and doesn't stop it.
Other books like BetInternet does it though. Once a fren of mine kept on making small bets over a period of time instead of betting one lump sum. BI instantly freezed his account and questioned if he was a bookie making bets on behalf of others on live chat.
