Legends. Why bother telling them about their mistakes?
During the World Series I made a $100 bet on a baseball prop at Legends that ended up a push. When I logged into my account the next evening I saw they had mistakenly graded my bet as a win. I informed them of their mistake, and was put on hold indefinitely. After several minutes of waiting and not hearing back from the CS rep I had to leave. When I logged into Legends after I got home later in the evening they had taken their money back without so much as a word of thanks.

I wasn't/am not angling for any sort of reward, but one would think that if a customer informs a book about a grading error in the customer's favor, the book would at least acknowledge the customer's honesty.

    Ackowledge, absolutely.

Depending on the player, freeplay-juice free wager or just allowing customer to keep the win are in order.

As cheap as it seems, legends is a solid book and wouldn't give them too much grief.

If I did that everytime, it would have cost me some thousand bucks so far...

I think there is a key piece the OP is overlooking here.

He contacted via chat, chat was unresponsive for him, and he disconnected, later to discover the correction was made.

He does not know they didn't acknowledge his honesty in the chat, as it appears to have froze. They just didn't e-mail or call him as well. From the clerks point of view, they may have acknowledged and the client just didn't respond.

As far as if he wouldn't have reported, would it be caught, likely yes. Assuming someone played the opposite side, they certainly would be calling for an adjustment to a wrongly graded loss.

It is what it is, move on. If you like legends, continue to play there. If not cash out and try another. I know for a fact what Tony @ 5d would give in these cases, as well as a few other big names. If they give you a free 25 bucks or no juice bet, your lucky.

The chat did not freeze. The CS Rep was looking into it and I was on hold for over 5 minutes. I told them I had to go and was logging off shortly, and did not hear back after waiting an extra couple of minutes. The chat was live when I signed off and turned my computer off. Never once was any gratitude expressed toward me by the CS rep when I contacted them.

I agree there's a good chance they would have caught the mistake anyway, even though it was 24 hours since the game ended and it was sort of an obscure bet.

Your point about Tony at 5dimes is nonsensical. Just because he acts like a jerk to his customers doesn't justify Legends doing the same thing.

Ian, I get your point-but seriously, is this worth making a thread to complain about. I went to **'ds today and got my coffee..the girl at the drive through didn't thank me or apologize for not putting creamer in and I had to go inside to get one. I don't feel ** d's owes me anything. Just shitty CS by one person who is not in charge.

The point about tony is perfectly on point as there are 3 books in a league as legends for US citizens now 5D, BM and Heritage..heritage picks its clients, BM has a consensus worse CS and that leaves 5D. Tony would say thanks (mabeye), toss you a vig free major sport wager for up to 500 and move on. They wouldn't call after the chat or em you to say thanks, nor would any other shop in my opin.

I also agree with BD on the parlay cards, a lot of soft #s that never get updated, profitable 2-3 teamers.

Bottom line is this, books only cater to losers. Pissing off a long term winner won't bother management in the least.

Too many people treat this sportsbooks like they are your fried. Hello!!! they don't give a fuk about you and hope you lose. Anyone alerting them of mistakes and not betting them is a dumb ass plain and simple.

                    Hello Ian,

I actually remember this perfectly. I asked Jason who is the representative who handled the situation to add a compensation to your account and thank you for reporting this. I am truly sorry that this wasn't done and I'll look inside to find the reason but in the mean time, please pm me with your account number to make sure it is taken care of asap.

Not necessarily. If you are always betting obviously erroneous lines and taking shots at a book, you will most likely get bounced and lose an otherwise useful out.

                          Than you BD.

Jason is great. He's been part of the team for over 5 years now and he's always done an amazing job.

The op's point of view is easy to be understood. When you report an error, it is true that you don't "have" to receive a thank you, but it is something you expect. Not dealing with books in particular but dealing with anything and anyone. Not thanking someone who helped you is just being ungrateful.

Taking a shot at the book is simply going to get you an X mark on Iovation and then no serious book that actually pays will take your action.

Ian, for some reason I can't sent pms but please check your account.

Legends has always been top notch. I alerted them of a line error about 2 years ago. They left a hockey line up even though the game started an hour earlier and they took good care of me. Their customer service is as good as it gets...Keep up the good work Rachel!!

This has come to an unexpected and more than agreeable resolution. Legends has placed $50 in my account with apparently no strings attached.

Thanks, Rachel. You have restored my confidence in Legends.
